It doesn't get any better than Sonnenhof! Charlie the manager's service is second to none and the whole staffing team are wonderful, somehow perfectly balancing efficiency with a relaxed nature to ensure you have the best holiday. Our room was fantastic, the food with its many courses blew my mind each day and to be staying on the snow means the location doesn't get any better.
I hope the stars align and I find myself back in the Hof soon saying, "How good is life!"

Such a great experience spending the weekend at Sonnenhof. Highly recommend! We travelled down for a weekend, shared a room with a couple of mates and were so pleasantly surprised!
The lodge is in such a great location with a lovely view so you can check out the snow conditions over breakfast or watch the night skiers while sipping a wine by the fire. Food was superb, staff were so warm friendly, and helpful. Ski out the door in the morning and easy pickup at the end of the day meant no walking up and down the hill in ski boots. The spa sauna was a huge hit for those achy bones and the bar is an funky relic of Perisher's history. Rooms were spacious and beds super comfy. Best spot I've stayed on the mountain, hope to be back soon!

What a wonderful holiday experience staying here. Charlie and all her staff made us feel welcome like family. They were always smiling, happy, and so helpful. Nothing was a trouble for them, really enjoyed the nights in the bar with them too. Liked Richard from the first, when he picked us up from the station terminal, so helpful and friendly. Wonderful experience for all my family., my two adult boys, daughter inlaw, my two young grandsons, (five and six) and myself. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend Chalet Sonnenhoff to all.

We stayed at The Hof for our honeymoon the last 4 days. It was honestly the best honeymoon we could have asked for.

Charlee and Richie were the best team who went above and beyond multiple times to ensure we had a nice stay.

The decor of the hotel was that of a real little chalet, so it felt like we were in a storybook some nights, so pretty and picturesque!

The food was EPIC! I must have Adrian’s Carrot Cake again at some point! Every night delicious three course meals were served hot and beautifully presented- it felt like we were at a different restaurant every night with the variety. The brekky was really fresh and plenty to choose from- I loved the pancakes!!!

The view was so stunning that I nearly cried when Richie first picked us up and drove up the hill. Every morning waking up to a snowy paradise with my new husband beside me was everything I’ve ever dreamt of.

We are coming back next week so our little girl can experience the best hotel we have EVER been to!

Thank you so much to the team for making our first few days of marriage so dreamy and wonderful.

Its already been mentioned, but the food was excellent. Every night it was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Was great after a hard days skiing. We didn't feel that we needed lunch each day and just had breakfast and dinner which was fine. |Nice atmosphere with all the guests. The pool table is not free which is surprising. I think if it was it would get used more and create a good focus in the lounge room instead of everyone just being on their phones. |The beds were not that comfortable so I didn't sleep that well. |The spa was only open 2 nights out of the 5 that we were there which was a shame as it did feel nice on my muscles. It was closed because of broken glass (which aren't allowed in there anyway) and vomit. So not the chalets fault that other people couldn't follow simple rules. |Very warm weather meant that there wasn't enough snow to ski to the lifts so lots of walking in ski boots. |If I was going back to Perisher I would stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights at Chalet Sonnenhof and we were incredibly happy with our experience! Charlee and the entire team go above and beyond for the guests, the amenities are brilliant (a spa and sauna after a day on the slopes - perfection!), the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Felt like a family while staying here. Hoping to return in the future with a group of friends 😀
