Fantastic house. You feel like you are somewhere in Aix en Provence. Really, really beautifully decorated rooms, the view is amazing, the pool is a great idea (always). There is a backyard too but we didn’t use it. The kitchen is well-equipped so we cooked a dinner and stayed there enjoying nature. I was not the main client so I can’t rate the communication… but I definitely will be back!

I found and booked this accommodation online. The website showed the accommodation available and when I booked the accommodation it took the total amount of the accommodation on my credit card. I then get a phone call to say the accommodation is no longer available and has been booked out for months. Despite this they did not update their website. This should have been pulled off their website as soon as the previous booking had been made. I was very disappointed as this was in the perfect location but accepted there was nothing I could do. I was promised a credit straight away. Instead I was charged again. I had to then chase them to get this fixed. They did credit me only the one charge. I had to then bring this to their attention again. I have now been told I have to wait 10 days to get a refund of my second charge. Surely if they can credit me once straight away then they should be able to credit me twice. Their accommodation may look good but their service and administration is very poor. I am now waiting on the balance of what was charged to my credit card and now searching for accommodation again whilst they have my money.

UPDATE- 1 day prior to the date we booked and they cancelled we received an email with all the codes and details on how to get into the house. So whilst they cancelled my booking they again did not update their system. But hey, we now know the password and the code on how to get in and where the lock box is located!!!!

A couple of days after the original intended dates they sent us another email, "It has been a real pleasure to serve you. Every guest is a valued guest, and we are delighted to have been your home of choice during your recent stay." Not sure how valued we are or the guest who actually stayed there as they don't even know who stayed there.
As also stated "We hope the accommodations and service were to your liking, as complete satisfaction is our goal here at the Chalet De Tranquillité.". Again not sure that their goal was achieved as I did not get to enjoy the accommodation or get complete satisfaction.

As frustrating as it was that they cancelled on us in the first place because they did not put in the booking on their online website. It is very disappointing and lazy that their system was not updated with the correct information. I hope whoever booked this accommodation got their instructions on how to get in.

Our stay at Chalet De Tranquillité was peaceful and relaxing. Simoné was extremely accomodating. Communication was outstanding. Highly recommend staying at Chalet De Tranquillité !!
