AVOID! I am gobsmacked at how we’ve been treated after booking here. We arrived after hours and were told to call the after hours number on the door. We tried for 20 minutes using three different phones and couldn’t get through to anyone. We had to leave and try to find another motel (after 14 hours driving with 2 kids). Went back to next morning to get a refund and there was no apology, no explanation and no refund. We’re told it had to go through head office. It’s now been 6 weeks of trying to get our refund - no reply to emails or phone calls. Absolutely appalling customer service. I’m more upset by that than the fact we don’t have our money back yet. Avoid this place at all costs.

Nope!!! Not very receptive reception. Qick off-hand directions to non-allocated parking. Restaurant not operating. Dirty carpark. Carpets were filthy and covered with who knows what and tufts of animal hair. Stained carpet in the room. Sticky door - didn't feel safe. Clean sheets though. Didn't take thongs off. No refunds so just avoided being in the room as long possible. Whole place looks grotty and rundown. There was a 'Staff Wanted' sign out which might explain some of it.

Do not bother. This place needs some serious maintenance. No fault of the staff, they were excellent. If you need to be reminded that Australia's best days are behind it, due to extremely poor economic management. Spend a night here!

Worst night sleep- extremely bad Road noise, Hard bed, Pancake pillows( had to use 4 pancakes), can hear TV and talking through walls, carpark so tight that you can’t get in and out your car, overpriced.

Room door was open when we arrived- obviously to air out because the room stunk!

The pics on website must be 20 years old.

I gave one star because the shower has good water pressure.

Nice little hotel has what we needed . Comfortable Bed, Cool Fridge & good bathroom..Straight opposite HJs.. Maccas down the road and next door is a Banjos Bakery.. Hotel is a $16 Uber to airport ..|My only question is it had a toaster but no knives or small plates .. Other than that very good..

We arrived and had booked two rooms. A family room and a queen room.
Upon inspection of the family room we found cockroaches crawling on the bed.

I went down stairs and spoke with the lady on the desk who asked what she wanted me to do about it as there are no house keepers on at night.
The gentleman there went up and tried to catch the roaches and reluctantly they changed the sheets on the bed.

When we went into the Queen room the carpet was soaking wet and the room smelt like vomit. It was filthy.

I explained to them that this was below health standards and we would not be staying and would need a refund of our money.

Though I have sent many email and phoned many times we have not had our over $800 refunded. They will not communicate.

We had hoped to sort this out with them but their reluctance to even reply to any emails is discouraging

This is a filthy place to stay. No not book.

Where to begin. Stayed for 2 nights. Check in was smooth. Got into the room. The freezer in the fridge had not been defrosted in quite some time with the amount of ice build up looking more like Antarctica. Ordered a rump steak with a seafood topper. It was palatable.
2nd night, I ordered my dinner just before 7pm, however, by 8.15pm, still no dinner.
Made enquiry with the receptionist took her another 5 minutes to go find out what was happening. She told me it would be another 10 minutes. Yet when I ordered I was told by the lovely young lady I would have dinner by 7.30pm.
I asked Shelly the receptionist to cancel the order as I was tired and just wanted to go to bed. She wandered off, leaving me standing at reception for another 5 minutes. When she came back she was quite rude and abrupt. I told her that her attitude was unfair, unjust and unreasonable. Her reply was that I was being rude. I suggested she should learn what customer service means.
After another 5 minutes I finally got a refund. Very unprofessional. She came across as very entitled.
I would strongly suggest to the owner that they provide training to rectify the poor customer service.

Absolutely disgusting, dirty, smelly, ugly, noisy, as hell, it’s unbelievable the, the cost is to much for the misery, that as a guess people endure at this place. Don’t waste your money.
There are better places for less money.

Walking into a room with the toilet full of poo and maggots, cockroachs, ants is a hygiene problem.
The girls who clean the rooms, can’t do a good
job, because their managers is timing them, so they have to ran to complete the clenching in the time they have to, so the ones to blame here are the red hill group owners.

The red hill group owners and shareholders of this place, don’t do maintenance, not even pest control.

I don’t recommend this place at all.
