Great location, close from everything and that’s about it.
Cleaning - bathroom was clean but not spit clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of space pillows which is great. Balcony overseen the Woolworths car park. Table to plug your laptop and work.
The major issue for me was missing dryer as well as limited working hours for reception as I was never on site during business hours. I guess missing essential on business trip is a bit of an issue. I also shared my concerns directly with the hotel to help them to improve their services provided to the customers.
It was noisy when someone was bashing the security doors but overall OK. Security was great! Also lots of noises like pipes were talking to each other at night and noisy fans in the room and bathroom. You have to switch off to sleep

Do not book in here.
I had a booking through Hotels.com. We arrived in the afternoon and the reception was closed. There was a sign with a contact number. I rang the number 11 times from my phone, 4 times from my wife’s phone and twice from a friend’s phone. No answer at all. We attempted to contact them for over an hour.
So far Hotels.com have not secured a refund and the motel has not refunded my money. They have not completed the side of my accomodation agreement by failing to provide me with a check in process. I will be pursuing this through legal processes.
Try any other motel in Lismore!!!!

My accommodation booking cost has been refunded by Centrepoint Motel. I would like to thank them for the action.
It’s a pity their checkin service needs some work.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting! The young girl on reception, was lovely, but that's where it ended. My family and I stayed here in a family room for 1 night. The room was spacious, but lacked style, a thick layer of dust covered everything. The dining room table hadn't been wiped, as there were remnants of food all over it. The floors were filthy, with hair and god knows what else. The bathroom had the previous occupants soap in the shower, and hadn't been cleaned at all. I went to use a wine glass, only to find that someone had used it as their personal spit jar 🤢. The beds were somewhat comfortable, but we woke with bites all over our bodies.

I understand that they are still renovating after the floods, but if you are unable to provide a clean room for your guests, then maybe you shouldn't re-open. My family and I felt so dirty staying here! For the price you pay it is definitely not worth it.

Do yourself a favour, don't make the same mistake we did. Avoid at all costs!

Charged cancellation fee despite having Governement certificate directing me to self isolate at home. Asked if I could move booking to another time as I have to come down for work anyway and was told they need booking paid in full and their cancellation refund policy of 48 hours before arrival would apply. Then when I went to pay not even 5 minutes later they said it was not refundable. Obviously their policies are flexible to suit them. Booking elsewhere as No other hotel, airline or rental agency has been this rigid during covid.

I rang to make a booking and was told I had to have a credit card to pay the costs of the room for a 2 week booking, as I don't hand out my credit details they refused my booking because I wanted to pay in cash. Furthermore I was advised that a person that had stayed at this motel had faulty locks on her door, (they did not lock properly) advised management of her concerns and was ignored. So had to leave due to fear of having unwelcome visitors

Update. Tamika from Centrepoint Motel rang me. She apolagised for the confusion. She advised me that if I wanted to, a room was ready and waiting to check in. Thanks Tamika. All sorted. Comfort Inn after hours bad. Centrepoint good.
