I had a perfectly cooked rump steak that was a little bigger than the plate. My husband had a chicken schnitzel, which again took up most of the plate. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommended 👌

Made the mistake of stopping in for a meal. Found a cooked cockroach in my food and immediately raised it with staff/ the owners (think it's a whole family affair). Terrible attitudes, no customer service for such a disgusting and serious issue. Could barely get a refund and was made to feel like it was my fault for noticing. Still feeling ill - Avoid this place at all costs.

Haven't stayed here, but have eaten here, and let me tell you that the steak is hands down the best steak feed I have had in my life. Travel to Cloncurry every couple of months for work, and the first time we stopped in here, we tried the steak and thought it was phenomenal. The second time, ordered the steak again to see if the first time was a fluke, and it somehow was better than the first time. Consistently fantastic food.

Staff can vary on friendliness etc. but they are human and I'll always give leeway for bad days.

The inside dining area is a little dated, but is still comfortable and welcoming. Can be a bit noisy at times, due to the pool tables being so close to the dining tables, but it's also a bit fun to watch folks go at it with some banter while you eat.

We’ve been travelling for 8 weeks now and sadly I must say that our meal at this hotel a couple of nights ago was a shocker . Corned Beef was microwaved , sinewy , tasted terrible and veges not cooked adequately . Sorry but if you serve up meals like this you shouldn’t get a good review .

Great place to have a meal. Meals are massive. Crumb Steak and Outback Parmi will leave you full for hours and maybe even days. Typical old pub in outback Queensland. If you’re looking for a drink and meal it is a must do when you’re here in the Curry
