Please do not hesitate to book Cedar Cottage for your next trip to Tasmania, you will not be disappointed. From the excellent communication with Sarah when I originally booked, to the amazing facilities (hot tub, fire pit) the extras (hot chocolate, jam, butter, milk and a special request from us for eggs and all local) the attention to detail was outstanding!! It felt like nobody else had ever stayed there before. It was spotlessly clean with everything you ever needed and more!! There was even a great airer under the bed for a trip to the laundrette we did! Thank you Sarah for sharing your beautiful Cottage and wonderful part of the world with us, we will definitely be back. Absolutely faultless stay. Cedar Cottage is cosy, clean and incredibly well appointed. A fabulous base for hiking the Western Tiers with the hot tub the perfect way to finish each day. Loved being able to pick from the vege garden too. Can’t wait to go back.

Quite literally one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Sarah was a fabulous host, so helpful and attentive with my many questions. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos, every detail perfect. Big starry skies at night in the tub were a very nice holiday memory to leave with ❤️ We loved our time in Meander and will be back!

The cedar cottage experience was just so lovely! The cottage was so so so clean and tidy, beautifully decorated with local artists and trinkets. The kitchen was so well stocked with equipment that it truly felt like a home away from home. Sarah & Carol really know how to do the airbnb / stay experience ! Total privacy throughout our stay. Hot tub was fabulous with a view and gorgeous comfy cosy robes supplied. The extra touched with coffee and milk were just the cherry on top re looking after and thinking of guests. Highly recommended!!

I recently spent two delight nights at Cedar Cottage,and it was an absolute haven of cosiness. The availability of fresh veg and berries from Veg Mahal was delightful experiences. After a challenging climb up Cradle Mountain, the soothing embrace of the hot tub was just what we needed. The thoughful welcoming message and flowers were so lovely. A beautiful, charming cottage with all the facilities we needed & luxury beyond expectations. Despite seeing photos online before our stay, it still had that welcoming 'wow' factor on arrival.
The communication with the owners was exceptional.
