I had an amazing experience at Catalina on my Birthday this year.

The atmosphere was very nice and clean.

I will not surprised if you will be the best dining in Sydney. I am very impressed with your service and quality of your food.

Staff were perfect and professional always made sure we are enjoyed in every single dish. I’m lucky that executive chef (Mark) came to introduce the dining to our table.

I highly recommend Catalina and can’t wait to go back again.

Okay food with decent view and services.

We came here to celebrate the NYE so we paid $750 pp for the special set menu.
1) The food was okay but nothing stood out as great to match a Michelin star equivalent fine dining experience
2) We were sitting right next to the dance floor and performance. It was SO loud and the four of us really had to cram into the tiny table mostly for 2
3) At $750 pp, no drinks were included?! Not even water
4) The waterfront view was lovely but not much to see

All in all, a very meh experience for the special NYE celebration. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Had a lovely meal at Catalina last night. The food was excellent and really hit the mark - you can tell the kitchen knows what they're doing. Loved exploring their extensive wine list too, plenty of great options to choose from.

Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, though we did catch one or two who seemed to be having an off night, and there were a couple of minor service hiccups. Nothing major though.

My only real gripe is how noisy it gets inside - the lack of any sound absorption on the walls turns dinner into a bit of a shouting match. Next time I'll definitely opt for a table outside to dodge the noise factor.

Would come back for sure - the food's worth it! Just stick to outdoor seating if you want to actually hear your dinner conversation.

We dine at Catalina back in August 2024 for our 1st wedding anniversary.

Beautiful restaurant with the view of the bay. It's nice to sit there and watching ferry & water plane come and go.

Staff were very nice & attentive. We had the 3-course menu and it was delicious.
They wrote Happy 1st Anniversary on our dessert. Lovely!

Thank you Catalina for making our 1st Anniversary memorable.

Amazing, second time back at Catalina as I had to share the experience with my family visiting from Ireland. Food, staff and views 10/10. Completely forgot I had even included on booking it was my parents birthday yet the staff had not forgotten so it was such a great surprise! Can’t wait to come back again.

The reservations team were fantastic from our initial enquiry right up until last minute changes on the day. The food on the night was spectacular and the staff were very friendly and attentive. All feedback from our party was glowing and we will definitely be back in the near future.

Catalina is always a beautiful restaurant. Location, atmosphere, beverages, food nothing short of incredible and always is.

Service is generally good. Although have experienced on multiple occasions, wait staff that behave with a sense of arrogance and appear more important than the guest.
