Exactly what you're looking for from a motel. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Getting the run down on best roads to get around and where to go was a bonus

Thanks for the great customer service. And the hospitality with the room. The room was a great space for the price. We have paid more at other places for much less

Basic, clean and neat accommodation, big enough for a large family group. Wonderful that they are dog friendly and rather like dogs. The owners Paul and Lynn were really helpful and accommodating, checking in with us to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed.

Cabins here are huge and solidly constructed. Plenty of space for our 4 young kids, and safe for them to play.
The shower was large with wonderful water pressure and hot hot water.
Paul the manager was very friendly and helpful, and had our cabin warmed up for us on arrival (we stayed in the middle of winter).
The decor is original retro, like a step back in time to an era of warm hospitality. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night, arriving late, on a travel between Vic and Qld. The hosts and owners of the motel, Paul and Lyn, are amazing, gracious and so generous. They are an outstanding example of what country hospitality is about.
The unit was very spacious and extremely clean, well appointed with a comfortable bed. The only reason I could not give it a 5 star, and I really really wish I could, is that the decor was quite outdated. We would certainly recommend this motel however if you're look for an overnight place where you will feel safe and well looked after. Thank you Paul and Lynn!

Firstly, Paul and Lyn were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed staying here for 3 nights when the annual StarFest event was held at Siding Springs Observatory (where we were volunteering). This is certainly not luxury accommodation, but it is comfortable, cosy, quiet and has a bit of country charm.

Words cannot describe how genuinely lovely Paul and Lyn are. I broke down nearby. Paul helped me by pointing me in the direction of a good mechanic. Booked myself and my cat in at the last minute. The room was fantastic. I love the older furnishings, it's super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nothing was an issue for them. These two have reinstalled my faith in humanity. If you get the chance stay here. This establishment is a diamond in the rough.
Thank you for your understanding and assistance while I stayed with you. If I'm ever in town I will definitely stay here again.

Old fashioned service and hospitality.
The cabin was reminiscent of our small family home in the 1960s but was spacious, well appointed and clean with friendly, attentive service from our hosts. We certainly appreciated the local tourist tips, especially the dining recommendation of the restaurant at the Acacia Motel.
Would certainly stay again.
