Location was awesome, across road to beach. Room was spacious, great views, fresh sea breeze and very clean. Mark was amazing I had just come out of hospital and still recovering, he was very caring and even helped carrying my luggage to car. I will return here from now on, as I come to caloundra about 4 times a year for get aways. My usual hotel is about $300 more expensive but this is right next door.

Don’t think the pool was heated in end May/June 24. Needed fixing. Had renovations happening at that time.
Early in the morning drilling painting etc stayed in 2brm one bath older style
basic unit.3. Friendly staff.
Stairs to apartments no elevator.
Overall comfortable affordable stay.

We had a terrible experience. Booked a 5 night stay due to location and pictures it looked decent enough. Arrived and there was no booking for us! Manager was nice enough but gave us room 13 which was run down and could only guarantee 4 nights at check in. The unit was not clean to even an average standard with hairs in the shower and bed sheets, air con had strings of wet dust flying off it and rust. The kitchen utensils were unacceptable (bent nearly in half scratched up dry pan, toaster was rusted, dishwasher had old powder stuck to the bottom, cutlery draw dirty, fridge grubby and more). Floor and surfaces had a thick oily smudge wiped all over them. The furniture was grubby and bed bases torn with no covers. We spoke to manager and he inspected - he knocked on the door then used his key to walk in on us nearly smacking me in the face as he barged through the door. Needless to say we fled and stayed somewhere worthy of their 4 star rating. His response was this is decent for a 3.5 star resort 😳 I didn’t want my toddler crawling around as she was sliding on the film of grime on the floor and it was unsafe. Low and behold within 2 days she’s sick!! The only positive is we weren’t charged for the night we endured. I left in tears and stressed to the max. I was going to withhold my review but it’s been playing on my mind so here it is. I would expect this from a Highway roadside motor inn not a “resort” opposite the beauty of kings beach. Maybe suited to people who have lower cleanliness standards but I go on holidays to stay somewhere nicer than home to relax and this was definitely not that. Very old run down establishment and the manager has no self respect in his presentation or that of the resort grounds. Reeking of cigarette smoke and office is a total mess filled with old junk.
No one puts any love into the place very disappointed

My wife and I, and our adult son, shared a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. The apartment was very well equipped and very roomy. This is an older block of apartments, but in a great position at Kings Beach. The block is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped, but there are plenty of restaurants with a short walk. Mark, the manager, is very laid back and extremely helpful.

We love these apartments which are right across the road from Kings Beach. Have been coming here for 8 years & hope to continue coming for many more years. The apartment block is secure, clean & comfortable, secure underground parking & Mark the onsite manager is continually maintaining & updating where possible. No lift but ventelated stair wells to the three levels. Close to town, eateries & a boardwalk which takes you right into town. Excellent pool & bbq area & lovely gardens. Reasonably priced & well worth a visit.

If you're looking for a relaxing break in a top location, this is one of the best spots. You can leave the car in the garage and walk everywhere. Perfectly positioned across the street from the patrolled surf beach at Kings Beach, We enjoyed the headland walk from Kings Beach to Moffatt Beach where a plethera of coffee shops reward you. The complex has a heated swimming pool and a great entertainment/bbq area. We didn't take the car out the whole weekend. Our unit had ground floor access but was elevated to capture the ocean view. The pool is heated too and there is a half court tennis court.

Wonderful location - walk out the door and you’re on Kings beach in 1 minute! Rooms are lovely and spacious as it’s an older-style building. Mark the property manager is great, very accommodating. Will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic location right on the beach & close to restaurants, surf club & pub. Mark was a relaxed & caring host. A short walk to the Caloundra markets kept the girls happy and a swim in the morning is a great way to start the day. Would definitely stay here again. Good value.
