This place is one of my favourite. It's so lovely and refreshing. The water is not super cold but still nice and cool. The spa itself is amazing. Easy drive, the road isn't tarred but it's compact dirt/gravel and maintained. Easily can get there in a hatchback.
There are no bins or toilets, there are picnic tables.
We collected some rubbish from previous visitors to try and keep such a beautiful place clean and still open to the public.

Beautiful spa and pool. Visited en route to Mission Beach from Townsville. Only just off the A1 and at 36° that day it was a welcome dip. Easy parking and short walk to the pool. No toilets just a couple of picnic tables but so welcome on a hot hot day!

Definitely not spa pools (24/12/24) but we didn’t mind as it was hot enough already 😃 we came here a few days after they experienced a lot of rain I believe so there was plenty of water in the pool and it created a little waterfall between the two big areas. It was a lovely short stop on our way up to Cairns but it looks nothing like all those edited photos on Instagram.

So unbelievably beautiful. We’ve wanted to go to see these pools for ages and never had the chance! The colour is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Easy access (short walk down some steps) and pet friendly!

It does get petty busy, but it was never over crowded. We loved it so much we came back first thing in the morning at sunrise for a cold dip!

Wrong time of the year for a swim but a lovely drive through the national park to Cardwell. We have been there before with the creek and pools flowing, so it was not a disappointment.

Was a fun adventure in the rainstorm! Not prey to and blue because of the flooding!
