Great little rest spot. Usually a pie van, coffee and cakes van and sometimes a fruit van in the area. Toilets and under cover shelters available too. Excellent views!

Such a beautiful place to stop and stretch your legs. There is normally a pie van and a coffee van for a quick bite as well (Both the coffee and the pies have always been excellent).

A great place to stop and stretch your legs. Grab a pie from Cardwells, famous witty pie man, or a coffee and a piece of cake.
Our little dogs love a meander along the path or beach to break up the trip too.

Very good and pleasant place to take a break. There is a good view, toilets, a path you can walk along and also benches where you can sit for a while to enjoy the view in front of you.
Swimming is prohibited because of crocodiles🐊

When the sun is out, this is so picturesque to stop for your morning/afternoon tea or lunch stops. It's absolutely stunning scenery looking out to Hinchinbrook Islands. **Note if travelling south with a van, you will need to park before entry to rest area & toilets. Beautiful spot to stretch your legs.
