This place was amazing! The owners were lovely. The cat there was super friendly and came up to us. A must try are the scones. The Alpacas were fun to feed, but they spat on us. This is a perfect place to stay with kids of all ages. The tour was such a cool insight to what making Alpaca Fleece is like. Overall an amazing place to come stay.

Liked: Easy booking process. Great comms from hosts. Friendly welcome from Rob & Kathleen. As only a few campers are allowed at any one time, they make your stay personal. They introduced us to most of the alpacas & llamas! Plenty of field space to camp or run about! Gave good advice on local pub - Harwood Hotel usually runs a free pick up service, but was unavailable while we were there, so a good 45 min walk! Fabulous Full English Breakfast delivered to our motorhome. Good time spent in shop learning about alpaca wool process, & sharing Robs' knowledge on his vintage cars & tractors. Went above & beyond to make me a llama & a beanie hat in my colour choice (Murphy Green!). Will definitely try to stay there again the next time we travel to Australia. We have already told our fellow campers about Cardiff Alpacas, & would certainly recommend them to all campers who are looking for peace & quite, wide open spaces, & a unique experience.
Many thanks to Rob & Kathleen for being great hosts!

What a wonderful way to start the day. We went to Cardiff Alpacas for morning tea and I could not recommend this place enough. Kathleen and Rob were fantastic hosts. Lots of great stories and information about their beautiful Alpacas and the origins of Alpacas. The tea, scones, cup cakes and laminations were amazing! Very delicious. And of course the Alpacas themselves were wonderful. An amazing experience and amazing value for money. Thank you so much for having us.

Perfect spot for a night or two & something a bit different. Robert was very kind to take the kids on a mini feeding tour in the morning & they couldnโ€™t have been happier! Look out for the alpaca sign as GPS took us to the next door property which was hard to turn around in

Robert Kathleen, thank you for a lovely visit to your beautiful Alpaca farm. I arrived with my granddaughter her partner three of their children & two other great grandchildren. Kathleen warmly welcomed us (we are locals but it was our first visit) & as we were a bit early the great grandkids had a fantastic time climbing this beautiful old tree. Lunch was Robert's home made pizza which was absolutely delicious & Kathleen's potato wedges were to die for. After a beautiful lunch came the lovely home made icecream, my beautiful 6mths old great granddaughter enjoyed her cousins icecream, & then a beautiful talk from Kathleen about the Alpacs, so out the back we went, the children were able to feed these beautiful animals. Back to the front paddock to meet some more then off to the shed where the kids learnt.how the fleece is made ready for spinning. What a wonderful afternoon & I can highly recommend a visit to this wonderful farm
