The Capella was the last and by far the best stop on our honeymoon. They decorated the room as a surprise which was so cute and thoughtful. Definitely worth it to have the breakfast included, it's a 10/10... More food than you could ever need and everything was delicious. They have cocktails and drinks daily for guests from 5-6pm which is fun to attend before heading out to dinner. We really enjoyed our time talking to Alan.

There is a huge sauna next to the pool which we used each morning to kickstart the day. The gym looked really nice and there are individual saunas and steam rooms in the spa locker rooms. We can't wait to be back!

Stayed for four days and simply put, I cannot fault the hotel in any way. I'll admit that this accommodation was more expensive than what I would normally choose but looking back, it was worth every cent and was an experience I will treasure. Every person that I interacted with was polite and professional. Having read some of the low/negative reviews, I think some people may be a bit special or simply have unrealistic expectation. Well done Capella, I only have positive things to say.

I have to admit that Capella Sydney wasn't on my radar when it comes to high-end hotel properties until recently. I sincerely apologise for my oversight.|We had a staycation there a little while ago and it was a most pleasant experience. What stood out for us is the service and the cosy feel. This is not a boutique hotel but it is certainly smaller than a lot of properties within walking distance of the Circular Quay.|While the staff are not high touch, you have the feeling that you are being looked after. They are always professional and courteous.|The property is housed in the former Department of Education building which was completely renovated and extended. Capella opened in March 2023 so it is a relatively new hotel. It is a couple blocks back from the harbour so you won't get a harbour view. However, being closer to the business side of the CBD certainly give off a different vibe which is not a bad thing.|While the amenities are modern, you can't escape the history of the site. To wit, they have culturalists on site that will brief you on the history of the nearby area and conduct small scheduled tours of the heritage building and the artworks within. That is quite unique.|We stayed in a Tower King room. It is a well appointed and spacious room made even larger via a couple of sliding doors which opens up the large bathroom. A normal door from the hallway gives you the same access if you want to close the sliding doors.|As you'd expect, all the high-end mod cons are present and well integrated into their ecosystem. However, this is where the little touches make a difference. For instance, my wife's pet hate is not being able to find a set of hotel slippers that fits her. Much to her surprise, she found a small and a large pair in the room and the small pair fits perfectly and are very comfortable. That definitely got a thumb up from her.|Oh, one more thing, the hotel has a proper turndown service. It is more than a mini room service. They also set out a bottle of water and a glass by your bed, both sides. They also move the TV remote to the beside table. Nice touch.|Ok, the elephant in the room. For a room of this standard, why is there no bath tub? I don't necessarily need one but its absence raised eyebrows. A mystery for another stay.

I recently enjoyed a day spa treatment at the Auriga Spa and it was outstanding. The facilities are immaculate and luxurious, with top-notch amenities like a sauna, steam room, and a serene relaxation lounge. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive. My therapist provided an exceptional treatment, leaving me feeling revitalised and pampered. The tranquil atmosphere and high-quality services make Auriga Spa a must-visit. This is the best day spa in Sydney. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it for anyone seeking a luxurious spa experience.

Best Hotel in Sydney hands down! Oh my goodness what a stay. Just one night for my 40th but what a night! From the second you enter the service is impeccable. Every single member of staff just wanted us to have the best time. They were knowledgeable, friendly, professional and efficient. Shirt ironed last minute - no probs. Room not quite ready - let us grab your suitcase so you can use the spa etc. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding.
But the room was the real winner. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, fantastic amenities and amazing bathroom.
The decor was so relaxing and every detail well thought about.
Extra thanks to Andrew who gave me a box of take home Capella donuts and was just a ray of sunshine!
Thanks to all, we will 100% be back.

Amazing stay and superior service! We loved our stay at Capella, the rooms are spacious with the latest technology, service is outstanding and the experiences like welcome drinks in the lobby are a great touch. We have stayed at Capella Singapore and the Sydney hotel is just as beautiful and welcoming. Location is perfect too, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend!

Capella is a GEM hotel! Every aspect was perfection. Outstanding service and facilities. The gym and pool are the nicest I’ve ever experienced. You have to try the hot tub massage lounges. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Try the waffles.

I took my partner to high tea at Capella and it was disappointing. The environment and atmosphere is exceptional. However, I had ordered champagne and we were not offered it on arrival - I had to ask for it. We then waited for 35 minutes before any food arrived. The first course was absolutely delicious! The second (hot) course was disappointing. The food was barely lukewarm and the beef pie and pork belly were ordinary.
The desserts were great and the staff were very professional. Overall we enjoyed the experience but considering the price - could have been much better.
