Very helpful,friendly office staff whom were accommodating to our needs.
Underground car parking, heated indoor pool and a small gym.
Two TV sets,dishwasher and room service on request
However, the elevator is noisy and the carpet in it needs a good clean.
The furniture in our room is dated, scratched and needs replacing.
Overall, an enjoyable experience and worth revisiting with only minimal criticism.

Good location close to amenities.
Rooms very spacious. Has hot plate , microwave, fridge and freezer, washing machine , 2 TVs , dishwasher, couch, dining table and chairs, air conditioning and heating, towels and soap , pots and pans and cups , plates and cutlery. Good space for small family.
Pool was nice and basic home gym machine and treadmills.
Parking is off street and secure in basement with lift to next floor and a trolley to move the luggage. Reception was friendly . After hours check in and out .
5 minutes drive from shopping center or 10 -15 minutes walking if your keen

The apartments are spacious and had the basics. It needs a good clean and fix ups with broken tiles and marks on walls, cupboards and curtains. we arrived with no fry pan, enough cutlery or sharp knives in the room but they were fast to supply. we were hardly in the apartment due to sports commitments each day but did appreciate how spacious the rooms and close to shops. Also car parking is not extra which was secure.

Staff are friendly and we were able to check in before 2pm but the rooms are pretty cheap. Our apartment had a bad smell (smelt like cheap old acrylic wall paint). I’m sure the place was really nice when new but desperately needs tidying up. Lounges are well and truly needing to be replaced. Heated indoor pool wasn’t that warm and the gym room smelt pretty bad.

Nice reasonably priced hotel. Some slight scuffs on the walls near the door, a dirty wine glad, and a small tear on the lounge, but considering it's kept hotel apartments rather than full service that's all pretty reasonable. The pool was also lovely and I felt very comfortable and safe staying here with my kids.

The location of the hotel was great but there is major room for improvement in other areas. The room was quite dirty, I found dead bugs laying around, the duvet was extremely dirty, and there was dust in every room. Cleaning should be improved. The key card door lock apparently needed to have it's batteries changed in the middle of my stay which definitely should have been done prior.

Firstly thank you to the staff at Parklands who were super helpful and accommodating with our booking.
Relatively well situated, short drive to city and all main attractions. Alternatively, bus stop very close takes you to light rail. Short walk into Dickson town centre for groceries or selection of dining options.
Downside, room was not clean, mould in bathroom grout, shower curtain filthy, stains on carpet, didn’t look like cleaners do much at all. Kitchenette floor needed a good mop, carpet needed vacuuming as still had paper scraps on floor, fridge not cleaned properly. Only 1 hot plate on stove worked and the glass top was loose ( needs fixing). Hot tap in shower had no nut so tap handle kept falling off ( staff did fix this as soon as we asked)
The neighbourhood is a bit rough, certainly wouldn’t feel safe walk the street at night alone.

We broke down in Canberra and our mode of transport was our mountain bikes, so the Motel was close to everything. The staff were very helpful in letting us stay night by night as our van was fixed. We had a double bed floor room with kitchenette. The motel is aged, but some of the cleanliness is to be questioned our doona was stained the base and mattress was stained the blinds were filthy and the shower needed a good scrub with exit mould. But the motel was safe and secure and the courtyard was lovely.
