Husband was out at work and I decided that my oodles and I would not spend between Christmas and New Years home alone so booked this hotel for 3 nights between Christmas and New Years and I loved it! Alot of rooms are for permanents that live there and every afternoon is happy hour, everyone was so welcoming and friendly and the location was the best! Whilst the hotel is old and dated, it was very clean, neat and tidy and I will definitley return.

Location was great but that's about it. Pool was lovely but hard to swim because of pool pump. Outdated. Shower curtain so the water goes on the floor when you have a shower, If you don't wash your dishes, in the hand basin as no sink, there will be an extra charge. Clean toilet. Comfortable bed but not the pillows. Hard to park. There was a lot of information in the room about surrounding restaurants and the Sunday market which was great. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Age does not detract from this motel. The rooms are clean, the hospitality great, and it is pet friendly. It is a short walk to Bullcock beach, town centre and shopping centres, everything close. We had 3 enjoyable nights stay, and will be back. If you like all the bells and whistles, then open your wallet and stay elsewhere. This is a good honest motel providing all the basics.

Only stayed one night, and if just judging from the outside, very underwhelmed and in need of some love and maintenance. Seems to have quite a few well behaved long term residents who sit outside their rooms. There was no issue here, just a different vibe from the expected holiday one and we felt like intruders( but maybe thats just us) and were not entirely comfortable about leaving valaubles in the room, especially with a derelict house next door but thats not the motels fault.||The room though dated, was spotlessly clean! (And kinda funky in a retro way....Id be playing that aspect up if I was the owner) Great shower pressure, and pool very clean. Thoughtfully had icy cold water and ice cubes in fridge. Linen spotless, pillows were tontine and the bed was comfy. We slept well. Small air conditioner did a great job!||Close to beach and lots of shops around within walking distance. ||If youd booked this place for a major family holiday, you might be disappointed but if you go into this knowing that its a bit run down but clean well located motel in Caloundra youll be happy.

Lovely ladies and most beautiful dog you could meet â˜ē Old school basic motel. If you want flash well go pay big dollars. Clean tidy and super convenient to everything. The aircon was most thoughtfully put on for our arrival in hot weather and some milk and cold water in fridge. Old fashioned but my husband and I would stay again.

Had enough running around ,decided to stay a night in a motel that looked tired as i was and past its use by date. |what a surprise greeted by Maureen and Bronsen the Labrador who was intent in showing me his toy monkey lol. A break from the stress of admitting my wife into the university hospital nearby. | The room was old yes ,but had everything i wanted and then some. Linen spotless , Towels 5 star , Shower floor tiles reflected in the wall tiles A GOOD GAUGE OF HOUSE KEEPING . Located right in the middle of the main street of Caloundra .Great array of food outlets within 50 mtrs and easy drive to the Hospital. The motel is popular with a few trades who invite a chat and are well behaved and quiet .| Easy to see the Motel sight is marked for full rebuild but the Management is hard working with what they have got . Clean budget motel with the basics, linen etc up to 5 star standard You wont be disappointed with this motel for position comfort and is surprisingly quiet given the location.

I was very excited, I was casual a cleaner here when I was 18 I'm 56 now. Maureen the manager booked me in over the phone a few days earlier and I was to pay $190 for 2 nights stay which I did on my arrival. I was placed in unit 2 and it was just me but I did tell Maureen I had a friend coming down and we would do a few things but he won't be staying. My friend came down we went out and after dinner sat outside my room having a coffee. He was going to leave after this. Maureen the manager came out of her residence and demanded what was going on. This was 9.45 pm.I told her this is my friend I told you about we are having coffee etc. She accused me of lying and demanded he go and told me I couldn't have the TV on after 9 pm. I found out an elderly couple are living in the adjoining room and the TV would keep them awake. Maureen questioned my character abused my friend and withheld information from me. I attempted to cool the situation down, I asked my friend to go she continuing to abuse and threaten him with police action and I said I will leave tomorrow but would like a refund for the second nite. She did give it the next morning when I was leaving but charged me full price for a nite $129. I paid for a nightmare it seems. There is a substantial amount of long term people staying there including the elderly couple right behind a locked door and also a school friend of Maureen's. Maureen treated us like naughty children and attempted to ridicule my intelligence my character and destroy my mini holiday, not to mention abuse my friend, who in all honesty was not going to stay the night. Others there were talking outside had TV's on and doors open. I did not sleep well that night and was very happy to leave such a disrespectful atmosphere.
