This is my evaluation of the establishment. The dinner was okay; I didn't enjoy the mushrooms, and it was a little expensive, but there are cheaper, better options on the menu. The coffee and banana split ice cream were good, but the waffle was stale. The ambiance was calm, and the personnel was friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, I had a nice experience at this establishment.

Caloundra Power Boat Club is a testament to the charm of old-style clubhouses. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by incredibly friendly staff and an atmosphere that feels warm and inviting. Their hospitality is top-notch, making every visit a delightful experience.

One highlight of the menu is the Chicken Schnitzel with chips and vegetables. The classic schnitty is cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The vegetables are fresh and flavorful, and the chips are wonderfully crunchy. It’s a meal that keeps me coming back every time.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding day at Caloundra Powerboat Club. And I honestly cannot fault the team for the service they provided us during the planning and on the day.
They are very reasonably priced for weddings when you consider the engorged pricing of the wedding industry.
Very flexible to cater to dietary requirements.
The ceremony location is stunning and reception areas are spacious and easy access for guests.
There is a courtesy bus included as well.
Honestly it was the best day of our lives as it should be. And thanks goes to Caloundra Powerboat Club for helping make that dream come true.

We also had lunch there the day before and it was great too!

This place needs a major over-haul. Food quality is just average. Service is just ok. People sleeping on the sofa at reception!! People in shorts, singlets and barefoot at the bar at 9pm!!! Old stale dessert! Great location on the water, just needs a great venue to go with the view. Overall rating very poor!

Been coming here for decades, always clean and tidy with friendly staff. Food is a little inconsistent. Sometimes great, sometimes good, occasionally disappointing. Will always come back but be good to be more confident with the food.

First time visit for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night.
Now let's say that we've been to our fair share of clubs, restaurants and licensed premises in our time, so this isn't something new to us.
The best part of the whole evening was the wonderful greeting at reception when we arrived.
It really was, without a doubt, a time warp bank to the 70s, regarding the whole appearance, the ambience and the menu. Went to place the food order and got attitude from the staff member when we asked about having sauces "on the side" and when we ordered the parmigiana and asked about the choice of sauces, we were told quite rudely "same as the steaks". What did that mean ...... ? We didn't order steaks.
Went to get a drink and the beer tap ran dry. It seriously needs a major thinkover as to what service is provided and what the value proposition is for customers.
Doubt we'll be going back for second visit.

We had my husband's 40th birthday party in the Waves Room, and couldn't be happier. From when I started organising with Priscilla til the very end of our function, all staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Not to mention the stunning view, beautiful facility, reasonable pricing and delicious food! Absolutely amazing experience. Would recommend this venue to anyone. Cheers
