OMG! This is a beautiful spot to stay at when you are in or near Cairns. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. They make you feel right at home. Rooms are super nice and beautiful. In the middle of the forest with lots of privacy. Shower & bath! The swimmingpool is just a few steps away and is stunning. Couldn’t wish for a better place to stay here. We spent 2 nights here.

Charming and romantic room in small hotel (only 2 rooms). The sounds of the rainforest at night were soothing. Great to cook own food on pool BBQ.

It has its issues, however, and for the price we paid, we expected a little more.

Rooms are left open, it seemed, after cleaning, and so are filled with bugs on arrival. The rooms could also do with some kind of privacy blind / curtain, as each room can see into the other.

When we checked in, we received little to no instructions about cooking, the lock code, the wifi, local things, anything really - the owner seemed to expect the other couple staying there to tell us everything.

When traveling, we like to escape the challenges of home, and so didn't like the owner immediately throwing her political views at us at check in. We also left food in the outside fridge for our dinner, which got removed by the owner. They found it in the end in her own fridge, but the whole thing was just not on.

Overall, charming but odd place in the suburbs of Cairns.

My partner and I have just had the pleasure of staying 8 nights at this wonderful place. It was our idea of heaven and such a treat to know that we had it to come back to after exploring all that Cairns has to offer.
The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We were very sad to leave and wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone looking for a peaceful rustic retreat literally on the edge of the rainforest.

Cancelled our reservation 2 DAYS before arrival due to 'construction.' Booked our honeymoon from the states around 2 months ago. No call - just an email notification that also bragged about there being no cancellation charge. Refund said it would hit our bank account in 7 to 12 business days. Atrocious business etiquette, would not recommend staying here with this level of communication.

We actually got engaged In one of the awesome tree houses. This place excelled our expectations. The view of the rainforest from the bed, deck, bath, every part of the room was beautiful. Once you walk up the tropical driveway area you instantly are removed from the city and can quickly forget you are in town. The outdoor kitchen set-up was done well and the breakfasts were more than can be eaten, delicious and well worth it. The bloke who looks after the rooms and helped us check in was super friendly, well knowledgeable of Cairns and someone you could easily have a few beers and a yarn with. We only met one of the owners but she was extremely friendly and made the stay feel even more comfortable and homely. Her mother also bid us farewell when we left and made us excited at the idea of returning. We will always stay here from now on anytime we venture back to beautiful Cairns. Well done to a cozy, friendly, well managed and thought out business.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two amazing nights. The homeowner and family were just magnificent. They helped us pick us some groceries and gave us all the best restaurants. This little piece of paradise is 10 to 15 minutes from town driving. The room is well kept and give you a feel of being in the rainforest. I highly recommend, you won’t regret it.

This is my idea of paradise. A wooden cabin up in the rainforest treetops, sleeping in a comfortable bed with all the doors/walls open to the sounds and smells of the forest. There are just the two cabins so it's really secluded, plus a pool with a surrounding deck and just beautiful forest everywhere. Soft gowns and oodles of towels and toiletries provided, plus tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was down on the deck where we made our own from a great range of items and they got gluten free bread for us on request. There is private parking and we were left alone to do our own thing. The spa bath doubles as a shower. It was idyllic! Would absolutely come back if I have to go back to Cairns.
