Fantastic hotel, especially considering the rate. Would be surprised if this isn’t the best bang for your buck in Cairns! Staff were all very friendly. Rooms were great and clean. Beds were very comfortable and made everyday. The saltwater pool and hot tub are awesome here too. Best part of the whole place was the view outside our room which overlooked the ocean and the mountains, so beautiful! Balcony on the room was great for chillin too. The only reason I put 4/5 for the location is because you’re a little bit outside of the main town area (about a 25-30 minute walk), but don’t let this deter you by any means. The walk into town along the water is beautiful and there’s cool stuff in the way. 10/10 hotel, no question I would stay again or recommend to a friend!

We had a great stay at Harbour Side Hotel in Cairns. The service was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The view from our balcony was stunning, which made our experience even better.

The breakfast buffet was very good, with a great variety of options to choose from. Everything was well-maintained and tidy. However, we did have an issue with the bathroom exhaust fan not working. We reported it to the staff and were told it would be fixed the next day, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Despite this, our overall experience was positive, and we would still recommend the hotel for its great location, cleanliness, and service.

A well positioned Hotel on the airport end of the esplanade. Room was spacious & comfortable, bathroom was clean & had great shower. Food both at breakfast & the bar menu in the evening was delicious with a good choice, would recommend the steaks + there’s no a good wine selection in accompaniment. Staff are all very welcoming, knowledgeable & helpful with local tour advice. We had a thoroughly pleasant stay here & wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

This hotel was a great find. I like that it was right on the boardwalk and close but not in the middle of Cairns. I like to be the less dense area, but they have a shuttle to bring into the center as well. The service was so fantastic and the rooms were very good. There were a couple things that were dated or needed repair. When I mentioned the door not closing properly they had maintenance there in the hour.

Not bad if you're the type of traveler who doesn't spend much time in their room (other than to sleep). Advertising as a 4-star hotel is inaccurate. Decent value, though

Just returned from a 4 day stay at this Hotel and highly recommend it. We chose a room with sea views and 2 double beds. The beds were super comfy, the view fabulous. The proximity to the airport, hospital and city centre plus a 50c fare on the Sunbus from outside the hospital(which is a 5 minute slow stroll away) to the Marina and Centre of town makes this a winner of a spot. The staff are super friendly and kind. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cairns Harbourside Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our every need with genuine warmth and professionalism.

The location is perfect, offering stunning views of the harbor and easy access to local attractions. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool area, which was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. We also enjoyed delicious meals at the hotel restaurant, where the variety and quality of dishes exceeded our expectations.

Overall, our stay at the Cairns Harbourside Hotel was exceptional, and I can't recommend it highly enough. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Cairns!
