Friendly and helpful service from the reception staff. Room was clean, modern, comfortable and mostly well fitted out. The only feedback I can share for improvements are 1. a more comfortable office-type chair would be appreciated by business guests who often have work to do in their room. 2. The shower would benefit from having a shelf to hold shampoo, soap etc.
Otherwise a great location and a very good experience.

The room size was amazing and everything you needed was provided. Very quite and views were awesome from inside or out on the very large balcony.
New carpets in publuc corridors and the unit looked like it had been renovated recently and was fresh, clean and modern.
Not having and arconditioner in the bedroom was very strange - there was one split system in the kitchen/dinng area for the entire unit. You had to leave the door open if you wanted to try and cool the bedroom down, or put up with the heat. An extra split aurconditioner in the bedroom would make a huge difference.
Overall a great location, unit size and amenities and would stay again.

The service at the reception was utterly awful. My parents and I were excited to be travelling northern Australia getting checked in for our short stay in Cairns. However, the receptionist came across very arrogant and ignorant with our questions about the facilities etc. My parents were coming from overseas to visit and their English isn’t top tier, in some ways the receptionist seemed to scoff at them for not understanding in such racist manners. It was a shame as the location was almost perfect and the rooms were adequate. I hope nobody else had to experience this upon arrival.

Stayed over night due to early departure from Cairns Railway Station. Great room with views right over the city. Friendly and informative check in, reasonable price. Would have no hesitation to recommend

Stayed 4 nights in a one bedroom apartment. While the hotel location is very convenient to access supetmarkets and eateries, the room I had on the 5th floor (502), had a few issues. The internet was almost non-existent, the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work and the balcony was filthy with bird droppings and cockroaches running around every evening. Stayed 3 nights the week before but on lvl 9 (903) and the room didn't have any of these problems. Other than that everything was perfect.

The old white man at the reception was incredibly rude and arrogant. Horrible horrible first day here. Never visiting again. Stay away from him and this hotel! I do not understand one bit why people have left good review 🤢🤢🤢🤢 the sun tanning beds by the pool also are disgusting and dirty. The rooms smell. Yuck

Great location, ocean views from our apartment, clean and comfortable rooms friendly service , easy check-in and free undercover car parking ! Very reasonably priced , will definitely stay again , highly recommend!

As a regular visitor to Cairns, my hotels are often booked for me and are many and varied.
I recently stayed at Cairns Central Plaza for three nights.
This was the first time ive stayed here and found it good.
Rooms are large, well equipped, bathrooms functional.
My couple of gripes were the shower head and carpet, although clean, past its use by date.
Positives include what i think is a great position, close enough to the esplanade and shops/cafes, movie channels on tv, with a comfy bed and accessible balcony. The pool is small but ok.
I will be staying there again in the future.
