I’ve been spending long days visiting across the road at Nepean Hospital. The Cafe Upstairs has both convenient for lunch and an escape. The menu has lots of options and we have enjoyed salads, fish tacos and special toasted sandwiches. The coffee is good too! The staff are attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and there is also an extensive amount of books to read. We have sat both inside and outside. There is a good amount of space between the tables and assessable with a lift and bathrooms nearby. All in all it’s a nice, chilled space to recharge your stomach and body battery.

It was a pleasant surprise to visit this cafe. Food was lovely, healthy AND affordable. Especially their specials.

We were there to do some work but the computer was almost flat. When we asked for a customer charging spot, they provided us an extension code so that we don't have to move! Plus decent free WiFi!

Very welcoming ,friendly staff. Good variety of options for eat in and takeaway .
Menu priced very fairly ,food was great eggs poached to perfection .
Definitely the place to go if you're in the area ,waiting for appointments or just visiting someone at Nepean take the short walk across the road and enjoy a relaxing environment for breakfast,lunch or even just a coffee and a treat . 10 out of 10 Wendy you're doing a great job .

The lady serving us was nice, and I really enjoyed my egg and bacon roll - a good serving of bacon - 🥓- cooked perfectly. I really liked the atmosphere as well - everything was clean and they even had free Chocos- what a kind thing to do !

I had undergone an endoscopy at the nearby hospital and was very nervous about post-surgery eating. The grounds are mainly surrounded by houses with only a limited number of notable cafes and eateries. In our urgency to find somewhere appropriate to have post-operative food, we stumbled upon this quaint, tucked away restaurant called Cafe Upstairs - true to its name, it can be difficult to find, provided you look above the local pharmacy/gift shop.

Our family had a wonderful experience at Cafe Upstairs in Kingswood, Penrith. It is located opposite Nepean Hospital Emergency/near Nepean Private but can easily be missed. However, the allure of the cafe is in its location which is a retreat away from the worrisome energies of hospital life.

Luck! We felt so lucky to have found this cafe as the customer service was welcoming, friendly and quite attentive. A friendly smile goes a long way and we were impressed with the positive service these guys provided.

The menu is very much catered towards breakfast, lunch and brunch with a wide range of delicacies and fillers. The food was scrumptious, with balanced taste, warmth and well cooked griddle and blanch.

The ambiance was very inviting, homely and relaxing. We wanted to thank Cafe Upstairs for the enjoyable music, particularly as Fleetwood Mac came on whilst having our delicious breakfast - epic song choices with an equally impressive menu made this cafe a winner.

$9.50 for a pie, what a rip off. located right in front of the hospital so either trying to rip off healthcare workers or the sick, either way the great service doesnt make up for the price of anything.

Food is really no better then the hospital food across the street but lovely people kinda well no high prices $9.50 pie and sauce id go again IF I HAD TO but not by choice
