We came to cafe Soho for breakfast today. The food was yummy, and exactly as described on the menu.
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The food was simple, tasty, and just what you'd expect from a spot like this. Maybe some have had issues with the service, but that wasn’t our experience. We had a good time and would happily come back

⭐️ 4.5 Rating!!! I am definitely coming back. At first, we were very skeptical about this place as the cafe was empty at 6:30PM on a Friday night. But we were too hungry to go elsewhere and I’m so glad we didn’t. The food was delicious and I haven’t had such a satisfying HK meal in a while. We ordered a couple of set meals, white creamy seafood pasta and a black peppered maryland chicken rice. It was perfect. The missing half star was the milk tea, a drink I didn’t even bother finishing as it wasn’t that great. And it would have been better if they offered parmesan cheese for the pasta to enhance the flavour. The place is near and tidy even though it looks busy with all the colours going on - but hey, that’s HK right? Could do a bit of music too as the silence was awkward.

A very convenient cafe in Box Hill Neighbourhood which open till late, so those living in the neighborhood have more choices for supper other than 24hrs Macca. The food served is wonderful, did a few takeaway from food delivery app too, and it still taste as good as in the restaurant. I would highly recommend their baked pork or chicken spaghetti or rice series, their all day set menu is worth the money value (most importantly taste good), their unique dish is shark fin soup 碗仔翅 which made of mushroom, fungus (taste as good as real shark fin and not killing the shark). Beverage wise, i love their Hong Kong Milk Tea 港式奶茶and iced lemon tea 冬柠茶.

I come here mainly for the baked chicken, and it never disappoints! Sometimes I switch it up with the Portuguese chicken, which is also great. The fact that they’re open late makes it perfect for satisfying late-night cravings. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for tasty chicken at odd hours!

A classic Hong Kong cafe with a variety of authentic Hong Kong food that you would find in a cafe in Hong Kong. Fair pricing. By far it is one of my favourite Hong Kong cafe in Melbourne. It’s a ver good place if you wanna find somewhere to chill and have your meals. You can sit for as long as you want. Staffs and the restaurant owner is very nice too. Perfect place for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Perfect location in Boxhill however parking can be difficult at times. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic Hong Kong food in Melbourne.

Great place for HK cafe style meals. Always open late and always serving up good food and drinks. Great price for the portion and variety of food on the menu. My favourites are the fried pork cutlet with spaghetti, stir fried beef with spaghetti, and the spam omelette toasted sandwich. The pasta bakes are also really good too.

Went last night and the service was subpar at best. The food was tasteless and the lemon tea tasted like cordial on ice The server kept giving our order to the wrong table. Waited more than 30 minutes for a simple egg waffle. The price is too expensive given the poor quality.

The portion kind of small and hardly much proteins meats in it. The soup taste great. The set of meal bit pricy for mostly noodle. 1 egg 1 sandwich a bowl about 200ml soup and a cup of milk tea. Yeah outside bubble teas is ripped off and is seems everyone follow up the suit. Usually milk tea come free or cheap like $2.50 before the China's franchise bubble business run in Australia and now all Vietnamese coffee and HK milk tea cost so high. Dang. Now we hardly buy Viet coffee or HK milk tea have to make my own to bring to work. Bubble milk tea now $8 crazy...... So this restaurant make decent coffee and mill tea fresher than bubble tea shop and lot cheaper so I will come here more often just for good HK milk teas.
