The food and drink menu looks amazing. And it was good. Just not as amazing as it looked.
Huge thick schnitzels were cooked just right and had a beautiful brown crunch. The toppings were "OK" but somehow lacking depth of flavour.
The shakes looked superbly rich and special, and the toppings were so. The actual milk flavours ranged from drinkable to just not tasty.
The dessert pizza, on the other hand, was decadent and a genuine highlight. Thick rich Nutella like topping and icecream to top it off. I'd go back just for that.
Nice place to sit and an impressive menu, just not the food quality I dreamed of.

Very big serving here. Big price too. We ordered the signature cheese wheel fettuccine. It was just cheese and mushroom. Simple and tasty. The giant matador chicken schnitty was all the more impressive being a giant 600g slab of meat. Tender and chunky. I got some chili oil from the kitchen which made it even better. The chips was hot crispy. Nice! The staff are pleasant here.

The owner is a mates sister and her partner. This is review isn’t biased in anyway, I don’t think they knew I was coming or even know who we are.

My wife and I shared the Aussie outback parmy. Glad we did because it was massive.

Very clean restaurant, staff were extremely friendly.

Will definitely be back.

Café Settebello is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the fabulous food. Each dish we ordered was a delightful celebration of flavors, showcasing the authentic Italian cuisine that the café is known for. Every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and passion for quality ingredients.

But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by Josh. From the start, he went above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing short of perfect. When we mentioned our low phone battery, Josh immediately offered to find us a charger, which he did without hesitation. His attentiveness and willingness to help us out made us feel truly valued as customers.

As if that wasn't enough, Josh surprised us with a deck of Italian playing cards, adding a personal touch that made our dining experience even more special. It was such a thoughtful gesture that perfectly encapsulated the welcoming spirit of Café Settebello.

In summary, the combination of fabulous food and outstanding service from Josh makes Café Settebello a must-visit. Whether you’re looking for a delicious meal or a place where you feel genuinely cared for, this café has it all. I can't wait to return and enjoy another delightful experience! 🍕🥂❤️

The serving sizes at this place are monstrously big it's so impressive. When you sit down and see the prices for an unassuming cafe/restaurant, you think they're out of their mind with how expensive it is... but when the schnitzel comes out... it can comfortably feed 3 people. We have left overs for 2 people for at least 2 days. The food is delicious.
They have vego, vegan, and gluten free options for every course, including dessert.

Staff are attentive and friendly, even on a really busy night.

The venue is an open-plan family dining affair, so it is loud and somehow quite hot. If you're sensitive to noise, I'd wear Loops or earplugs, but otherwise it's absolutely worth the trip.

I have absolutely no idea why this Cafe has got good reviews. So very disappointing!! The food was very average. Overcooked and tough veal and chicken which was tasteless. The food was covered in sauce that had absolutely no flavour. Vegetables had
obviously all been precooked the day before and just left, then
reheated. Very uninteresting. Marinara had prawns in it that had
the shells still on. Definitely not proper Italian cuisine. So very disappointing. Try elsewhere.
