Excellent experience. Delicious food! Myself and three girlfriends caught up for dinner, shared a bunch of starters/entrees between the four of us, had two mains that we shared in pairs, and enjoyed some light refreshing sodas. Well timed, warm and thoughtful service. Very impressed.
Had booked because of recommendations on a Facebook group for GF dining, and Cafe Patina lived up to expectations and then some. Would love to come back. Thank you!

Very happy GF girlies tonight. See photos for delicious dishes we enjoyed. Very conscious of caring for dietary requirements, proactive staff well versed in the details of the menu.
Love that they use tallow too!

I just drove an hour to enjoy this cafe (which was recommended by a blog for not using toxic seed oils and using organic when possible), and it is closed for construction. Google said open and busier than usual, and their website mentions nothing about a closure. Gave 4 stars bc I'm so pleased to know this restaurant is making an effort on the non-toxic food front. Hope to give it a go next time.

I arrived here just after 4pm on a Saturday and unfortunately the kitchen had just closed. They had a small Happy Hour menu going from 4-6pm so I ordered fries (they use beef tallow for frying here which is a much healthier option than veg oil). Fries and coffee were both great. Will need to return to try the full menu

We had a family lunch at Patina.
The coffee was good. I ordered charred beef ribs and Crème Brûlée for dessert. The ribs were delicious and perfectly cooked. The 4 star for the food is because they used a sweet sauce for the ribs that did not allow me to savour the beef. I would have enjoyed more my main course without any sauce that masked the flavor of the well cooked ribs.
The service was professional and attentive.
I liked the outdoor seating along a quite street with nice views over the Wahroonga Park.

I have always had a great experience at this restaurant with amazing service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. However, during today's viait, there was a slight hiccup. The waitress told us to sit anywhere and she would bring water and menus, but then informed us that the table we chose was reserved. It would have been better if she had just mentioned that all the tables were reserved, so we wouldn't have gotten settled in a location that wasn't available. Overall, still a great place to dine, but would be great to ensure customers know that everything is reserved rather than letting them sit down and then be told.

I had this brocolini pasta it was ok until I chockdd on the sharp herbs at first felt like as if I swallowed a fish bone , and realizing it was just some pointy herb, overall service was good and the waitress was nice , I only have that problem with the herbs ,maybe less herbs next time?

Very disappointing. We came to cafe patina for Mother’s Day. Service was kind, but that’s where it stopped. An insanely expensive bill for what tasted like flash fried frozen food with excess salt, and incredibly dry overcooked meat with little taste. In fact, the food was so poor that it was a bit embarrassing to bring our mum here. Unfortunately the quality and serving size has significantly decreased and the price is no longer justifiable. Such a shame as it’s a beautiful spot.

Delicious food for lunch. Yummy cake and nice coffee. Customer service is great. Nice and quiet area! Scallops has great Thai flavour. Atlantic Salmon cooked to perfection. Everything we have ordered is delicious
