Wow this place boosts charm and character you won’t find at many other cafes! Such a great cosy vibe amongst amazing history and antiques. Yummy food and friendly service it feels like grandma is giving you are warm hug while enjoying your home cooked meal. Great place to go on your own or with your friends. I definitely can’t wait to go back soon!

Best breakfast i have had in a really long time. The food was cooked beautifully and tasted so good. Quick service, accommodating to your needs, wide range of options on the menu and the service was exceptional. This will be my go to breakfast place whenever I come to Townsville.

Went yesterday for breakfast. Apparently they only opened three days ago, so disregard the old reviews here. Coffee was very good. Breakfast food was good. If you are in this part of town it's a good cafe option. For five stars I felt it needed a little extra something on the plate, a good chutney, something green, different toast options.

We accidentally discovered Cafe Nova this morning. I'm so happy we did! The food was wonderful, well priced, and very very plentiful! The three gentlemen working were all so lovely, and the coffee is strong and smooth.

DO NOT pass up a slice of the caramel tart, we took it home for afternoon tea, along with a chunk of apple teacake. It's so rare to find a Cafe with proper homemade sweets (not FoodService frozen delights), and these are worth the calories. The caramel is not too sweet, and the biscuit base is amazing all on its own.

We had the savoury mince, which was rich and tasty. The poached eggs on the salmon Benny were the best soft poached I've seen in Townsville, they held together and then burst spectacularly.

We'll be back, and I'll be bringing mum and dad next time. It's worth calling in to check out all the vintage stuff around, including a very cool old jukebox.

We accidently found this place. Boy did we strike gold, best breakfast I’ve had in AUS so far, service was A1 so friendly and welcoming and the food was fresh, very well presented and portions were spot on. Don’t miss this hidden gem. Friendly on the wallet too.
