Bought the poke bowl which was quite nice and refreshing. The avocado on top was good and the chicken was super soft and tender. The rice under was a great compliment. My only complaint was I genuinely wish it was a bit more food just for the $ but that could be said for everything during these current times. My mum ordered the turkish poached eggs (I think thats the name) which was really good with that nice bread and the poached eggs texture was amazing when you put it on top. The coffees were gorgeous and really nice. Nice staff and very quick service. Also, wish there were more desserts to choose from, so maybe a consideration for the future.

We had been wanting to try Cafe Junie for a while and finally made it for a mid week lunch.
The cafe is essentially an outdoor eating space which is light and airy and room to move. A few observations; with the white decor, it is very bright so take your sunnies. If it was raining, I am not sure where you would sit. If it was hot the only air conditioning is mother nature so pick your day.
We ordered poached eggs on sourdough with a tomato relish and a hash brown was added as an extra.
The eggs were cooked to perfection as was the sourdough. The relish was delish, very good indeed. The hash brown was probably the best hash brown I have ever had with one criticism. If there is salt and pepper supplied at the table, as there was in wonderful little grinders, there is absolutely no need crust the hash brown with salt. I did not think to ask for no added salt and that came back to bite me. You can see the crust in the photo attached.
The other dish was the soba noodle salad with tofu substituted for the chicken. Unfortunately the dish was excessively peppered and salted making it virtually inedible. Why, why, why? The tofu too is salty and the pickled mandarin slices whilst a nice tough added more salt. So what looked nice on paper was not in the flesh. Disappointing.
Love the fact there are a few vegetarian options simply by changing the chicken option for tofu as well as the ubiquitous salads. I might try the tofu and egg roll next time...sounds exciting, by substituting the bacon for tofu.
On a not too busy day the food seemed to take a while to arrive. It sis not matter to us but if you were on a lunch break it would make you a bit antsy.
The tables were nice and clean and the service was fine.
I hope the comments are taken in good faith as they are intended. Cafe Junie is a great spot and we would like to see be better. simply by not over seasoning
There is a new menu out compared to what is on line. A photo is attached. But I would say, if you are on social media, be up to date. Anticipation can bring disappointment if the promise does not match the delivery.

We go to Cafe Junie ALOT, and they never disappoint. Beautiful, lovely staff! Gorgeous, filling food - and lots of options if you have specific needs like gluten free, vegan etc. my fave is the chicken + avo rice bowl but swap the chicken for tofu, the pickled fennel gives me life!

Also, I’m not really a juice person but the watermelon juice is sooooo yum.

Cute little outdoor cafe.
Friendly service, great coffee, good food.
I ordered an iced latte and the avo toast. The coffee was nice. Strong but not too bitter.
The avo toast has less avo than most places, but the feta was really nice.
The outdoor heaters were a nice touch since it was a chilly morning.
Free parking on site.

We ordered the chilli scramble eggs and my partner ordered eggs benny, both were amazing and we are keen to come back. It is an outdoor setting, but plenty of umbrellas around for shade. Staff were very friendly and was greeted with iced jug of water. Food looked so tasty we didn't get a photo in.

Seamless. No fuss. Then suddenly, amazing food appears. Really quickly! "Hidden gem" is a cliche. But this place fits the label.
