What a great little place this was at Carrington Newcastle. We thought we would check it out after hearing about it from a friend. Not far from Main Street of this suburb and very peaceful and the service was very friendly food was magic and coffee excellent too. I would definitely recommend going to this little cafe ☕️ and having some to eat. To all the staff at this venue thank you for your hospitality.

The Japanese toast here easily surpasses all the breakfast sandwich spots in Newy, both in portion size and price. The atmosphere they’ve created feels like stepping into a cozy Japanese afternoon snack shop. If they had a radio playing Japanese songs, I’d truly feel like I was in Japan! This café is an absolute gem, and I hope they continue thriving in Carrington for years to come.

I had lunch here on Saturday for the first time. I had a Bear burger served with lotus chips (as pictured) and that cost $15. Banana bread was $8. Wife had salmon on sour dough with iced coffee.

The staff were really friendly and the place was really busy. Service time was 20minutes which was acceptable given the level of patronage.

It’s basically an old factory shed converted to a cafe, with mixed 2nd hand furniture.

Other than the fact that you can have your dog there, I’m not sure why it is so popular. I would go there again but not get the same meal again. We did see other ‘bowl’ style dishes that looked more interesting than our orders.

I am pretty sad that dogs are no longer allowed inside. To the people who complained - why couldn't you go to a different cafe
Thanks to the owners and staff for providing more seating outside so we can still bring our dogs for treats.
This morning I had a divine matcha latte (the best in Newcastle by far!), my partner had a latte and our little dog had a puppycino. All were delicious and the service as always was wonderful.

Really great cafe! The staff are always so lovely and welcoming, which is always a nice touch. The food options are varied and plentiful, meaning people who prefer more traditional or more experimental meals will be satisfied. The prices are also very reasonable too 🍓🌱

Loved this quirky place. One of the best coffees I’ve ever had. There was a wait but everyone is so lovely you don’t mind and the food was delicious. They even have the newspaper for you to read… something you don’t see much of these days!
