I visited this cafe today around 2:45pm, just before they closed at 3pm. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a ham&cheese croissant. While I understand it was close to closing time, I felt quite rushed while deciding what to order. One of the staff members kept repeating the price of my first item, which came across as a bit aggressive and made me feel like I was being pushed to hurry up or leave, even though there were still other customers seated outside.

When I opened the bagel, I noticed that a plastic cream cheese lid had been wrapped inside with it. I assume it was a mistake by the staff while wrapping, but it made me lose my appetite, and made me concerned about attention to hygiene and food safety. I couldn’t go back to complain because the café had already closed. If they had still been open, I would have returned the item and asked for a refund.

This cafe is in a very convenient spot next to my school, but unfortunately, after this experience, I’m not going back anymore.

Cafe in Time, tucked away on Sussex Street in Sydney, offers a charming and cozy escape from the bustling city. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere—perfect for a quiet coffee break or a casual catch-up with friends. The cafe has a minimalist, yet stylish design, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that makes it feel like a hidden gem amidst the urban energy.

The coffee here is excellent, with expertly brewed espresso-based drinks that cater to every taste, from strong and bold to smooth and creamy. They also offer a selection of teas, fresh juices, and delicious pastries, making it a versatile spot for any time of day. Whether you’re in the mood for a simple flat white or something a little more adventurous, like an iced latte or a matcha drink, the baristas here know how to deliver consistently good coffee.

The food menu features a variety of well-executed breakfast and brunch options, from classic avocado toast and eggs Benedict to more inventive dishes like smoothie bowls and grain bowls. Everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the portions are satisfying without being overwhelming. The cafe is also mindful of dietary preferences, offering plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

A small place but sufficient to sit for a quick breakfast. Very good breakfast, crunchy toast with great poach eggs. San ( dont know correctly spelt) and her colleague are great! Very good memory and they could handle the orders during rush hours. They deserve a raise for their efficiency!

Great coffee shop on the side of a very busy street. Cheap prices with coffee selling from $4. Good amount of seating available. Other drinks and snacks are available as well.

Great little Cafe on Sussex Street directly opposite the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Great coffee, fresh vegetable and fruit juices and some tasty food at reasonable prices.
Love their bacon and egg rolls for $6.50.
At lunch time they have these awesome Chirizo Rolls with chimichurri and salsa $10 with a can of drink. Very tasty on a fresh crunchy white roll. Nice spicy chirizo

Great little cafe across the road from the Hyatt Regency in Sydney. Pretty basic decor and menu, but tasty drinks and food to get you going in the morning, and very reasonable prices, especially compared to the cost of a hotel breakfast. Highly recommend.
