Great cafe on Bourke across from the Carrington Hotel. Parking is easy to find on the street. We sat outside as there was 4 of us and a dog. Service was friendly and quick even for a busy Sunday morning. The menu has many good options. We went with Chilli scrambled eggs and the avocado on toast (which also has a good chilli kick!) Food was very good and so were the coffees. Plus they sell Butterboy cookies so what is not to love! Highly recommended

In Sydney for one night and decided to check out Dougie because they use Zest Coffee.

We ordered the granola and the schnitty bang bang and a chicken schnitzel breakfast option on a menu is always a good idea and this schnitzel did not disappoint. Moist and crunchy, absolutely gorgeous. The red juice was also nice and gingery which we wanted!

For coffee we ordered double espresso on the house blend. It was smooth and tasty, delicious!

The service was exceptional with one legend running the busy floor, we were attended to quickly and with a smile.

Also grabbed a batch brew on the single origin (Colombian) to take away that was real tasty.

10/10 all round and we will definitely be back!

Great food and strong coffee. We enjoyed breakfast at Dougie today. The chilli scramble eggs had a kick and was delicious. The fried chicken burger was crispy without being oily. The bacon was devine. The chips were also well fried. The staff are polite and quick to take your order. It’s a bit loud inside with all the hard surfaces and narrow setting, but the tables outside were quiet and comfortable. They’re also dog friendly. Overall a great experience.

I have been coming to Doug’s for a good 4 months now and everytime I leave with a smile! Let’s start with the food… consistently brilliant! Tasty, fresh and hearty. The coffee… always hits the spot and then there is the service…. You are always are made to feel welcome and the service is always done with such warmth and friendliness. Dougie is an absolute gem

Absolutely great, perfect for a sunny day. They do a great batch brew. Very slightly subpar texture for my flat white, but the beans and brew was awesome. Food is also nice, great cafe selection.

Really good food and service. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. Was a bit on the expensive side for breakfast but would go back. The menu is very diverse and unique catering to everyone and all dietary needs.
