Bad slow service especially by the guy with the black hair in the bun and goatee always there on the weekends.

Yelled at my wife because apparently she didn’t get to the back of the line even though she asked a lady if she was the last in the line and told yes.
He said no that’s the end of the line yelling at her there were people scattered everywhere.
She was so embarrassed by being yelled at she put the food back and left.

There are no real lines or order of where to wait.
They are in no hurry to serve people .
The day my wife was there there would have been 25 to 30 people waiting and the staff were more interested in talking to each other than serving or getting food ready.
One cash register open 4 staff members trying to make coffee and the same time
person on the cash register putting toasted sandwiches on the toaster and getting them off while still trying to serve.

My wife has worked in customer service for over 25 years and said if she had spoken/ yelled at a customer like that she would no longer have a job.
Staff need to learn customer service skills!
Staff need to learn manners.
Staff need to learn organisation skills.

I really hope you treat your patients a lot better in the future because you have no idea what they are there for or going through.

Management need to step in and teach them how to actually work in customer service.

The coffee is generally good.
This is a review about the food
The choices are horrible
As a staff member who doesn't always get time to prepare my own lunch, it is really disappointing having such a woeful choice of food when working long hours. There are times when I'm unable to eat anything, due to the minimal gluten free options

Slowest coffee in the known universe. Ten minutes for a takeaway flat white. This was fast for them in my experience. You can watch the staff making it, they are busy but are in no hurry.

Really disappointed with the utterly hostile service from the manager. I’m a staff member who was making a large coffee order and they had run out of trays. No worries, I asked for any container that they could lend me just so I could carry the coffees back up to the theatres. I said I’d bring it back, even offered to wash it. They declined to lend me anything despite there obviously being large plastic food containers which were entirely empty stacked in the kitchen. They just said I’d have to make multiple trips. I really wish they’d work to make life a little easier, particularly for staff members on a weekend.

I come about once a month to work at the hospital and staff at the cafe are never friendly. I always feel like I am putting them out. They seem to be very friendly with the Drs and regular staff.
I would feel very uncomfortable if I was a patient or visitor.

2 stars as the fresh juice is always amazing.

I don’t expect much from a hospital cafe. This one has some variety to their offer, but the advertised food on menu boards for example is not available. Instead, everything is packed. Bit of misleading advertising there? Everything I’ve had over the course of several visits has been extremely bland. I don’t think it needs to be due to the location. Most customers would be visitors and workers. On the last visit, I chose a wrap that was to be filled with spinach, feta and egg. Turned out to be a couple of sad looking baby spinach leaves, with no feta to be found - basically just eggs (of the processed industrial type), not even salt. Cashier of the day was inexperienced but very friendly, lovely person. But the coffee station was run by two obnoxious, arrogant and rude persons, and it’s that end to customer ‘service’ that will make me determined not to visit next time I need to drop by this hospital.

Some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I work at Gosford Hospital so I regularly grab coffee. There’s two coffee machines, but I’ve never seen them both being used at the same time. The food advertised on the TV is never available although I’ve heard lots of people ask for it. I’m sick of trying to get a decent meal for dinner when I’m working overtime.
