I stopped in here ANZAC day as I was passing through.
The lady there was working alone but doing an amazing job.
It wasn't super busy (due to rain and the public holiday), but it definitely was a treat and a fabulous meal.
Good old homestyle cooking.
Nothing too fancy.... Just generous portions and good quality tasty food.
The coffee and hot chocolate cups are HUGE!!!
Make sure you drop in and give it a go.
Hope it is amazing for you as it was for me.
Miners Breakfast...and... Egg and Bacon roll.

Pastries and coffee were subpar. Better at a service station. Ice cream was okay.

Service was okay, one of the staff members was friendly. The babyccino was made with chocolate power and tasted like a hot chocolate. Staff member was happy to remake it for us which was good.

We’ve been here several times - always friendly service.
Today, and last time we’re very ordinary.
Said hello to the lady taking orders…at least 3 times - no response, just a frosty nothing.
Coffee was OK - lady who served us was quite grumpy.
We’ll never go back again there

My wife and I stopped at the Cafe and had the burger and fries special at lunch time.
The burger was big and tasted just like burgers should and the serve of chips just as big.
My wife couldn't finish her meal but I did and then didn't feel like any dinner

Lovely and friendly staff. Crispy chips and good coffee. Whilst your there, check out the first gold mine for qld. Take a tour & pan for gold.

If you want an authentic Aussie feed done WELL with meals the kids will love? If you want service with a smile and a small country town feel? Come to grab breakky or lunch at this Cafe. Satisfying portion sizes. Everything I was hoping for. Wheelchair accessible. ♿️ You know you're in for good tukka when they ask if you want plain salt or chicken salt!
