Jun 2025: The actual name of the cafe is Sami Pho and Banh Mi. I paid $17 for the special beef pho. The portion is generous. The broth tastes delicious and has a darker colour compared to the ones I had in Springvale. It might be a northern Vietnamese pho. The bean sprouts are pre-mixed with the broth. They ran out of the Vietnamese herbs when I was there. I really enjoy plucking off the leaves and adding them to the soup. It is managed by 2 people, so be patient with the service. I recommend this restaurant if you are close to the area.

Worst pork Banh Mi I've ever eaten. Pork was cold, little to no crackling and not even remotely spicy, it also had large chunks of cold butter in it... gross. 2 doors up is one of the best Bahn Mi I've had, I decided to try this place and was very disappointed and couldn't even eat the whole thing it was that disappointing. I wouldn't recommend the Banh Mi here at all

This used to be excellent. The new owners although nice and run a clean shop are building Banh mi with COLD PORK a mix of salad that doesnt have the HERBS or flavour the old owners served and they cant seem to get the idea of an order for ‘full chilli’ or ‘half chilli’..we mostly get one tiny piece of chilli ☹️ so we will take our weekly office staff order elsewhere…

This has changed hands recently and the Banh Mi isnt as good as it was - the pork is often cold and the salad isnt as flavoursome - the whole roll just doesn’t have that knockout Banh Mi flavor

Best roast pork Bahn mi I’ve had in a long long time. Amazing flavours in the pork and home made Patè. The owners is also generous with his servings making the low prices well worth getting extra dishes to feed any family. Flavours just make you want more and more. Good family man!

Beat roast pork roll around here. The pickles are tangy and crunchy with the original ingredients of coriander and spring onion and chilli. The pork crackling is separate from the roast pork to maintain the crispiness separate from the tender pork. The bread is flaky on the the bite but not stale inside like other bakeries. It compares with my other two favourite pork roll places; Springvale tabac and noble park’s bakery near chemist warehouse. Two pork rolls isn’t satisfying enough for me 😁 support the locals!

I have recommended this place to a lot of people.
The pork belly rolls are stuffed with meat, Vietnamese salad and crackling. Very succulent rolls and some of the best going around. Pho soup is delicious, as is their vermicelli salad. Vietnamese coffee is also recommended.Owners are more than happy to meet customer's requests for variations.
Hidden gem.
