Online booking service says they were fully booked, but sent a message anyway and secured a table no problems. |Menu was different, emu, kangaroo which the partner enjoyed. Generous servings but mains served in bowls, was difficult to cut my meal. Pork belly was really fatty and came with a super spicy Korean cabbage. |Staff friendly, service was good, view was awesome as was the ambience. We'll be back.

Great location and views looking out onto the river, Rooms are very clean the hotel is presented very clean and tidy,Unfortunately the 4 star ship has sailed when it comes the quality of the rooms. Our room on the 4th floor, looked very aged if you put anything on the bedside cabinet it stuck to it ,instead of replacing the tank on the toilet it was just painted (although the seat and lid was replaced)so 3 star, This hotel is a solid 3 star with a few splashes of a 4 star but charging 4 star prices.Maybe next time reception should be advising that they will take $150 security deposit when doing a phone booking spoke to them 2 times (wasn't a issue to pay just not at all impressed with dropping it on guest's at check-in) it only needed a card imprint again so 3 star, Burnett riverside hotel time to lift your game and refurbished the rooms to be in line with your pricing.

One of the BEST and most affordable Wedding Venues Bundaberg has to offer!!
Manager/Events Coordinator Shay goes above and beyond to make your event go as smooth and easy as possible!!
The Burnett Riverside Function Room/s comes fully equipped with private entry, private amenities, private balcony, built-in plug & play audio system, it’s very own waitstaff Bar stocked with whatever you should choose also with the choice of running a tab or pay as you go via eftpos (this allows for more affordability).
The room has beautiful polished timber floors accented by the warm white glow that comes from the gorgeous chandeliers that can be personally adjusted by a very conveniently positioned dimmer dial for just the right ambience for your event!!
This beautiful room opens out onto a lovely intimate deck via full floor to ceiling glass concertina style doors that give a true alfresco vibe if you should so choose or keep them closed as the room is also serviced by ducted air conditioning!! The deck also comes equipped with dry bars and stools for an extra touch of elegance allowing guests the option of taking in the evening sunset that lights up the Burnett River in a way only a position like this one could lend…very uniquely beautiful!!
I could go on and on but I’ll leave off now with pictures of the setup of our beautiful daughter and son-in-laws wedding reception…enjoy!! 😊

We decided to stay at the Riverside for a 4 night “getaway” – thinking it was ideally located and had a 4 star rating…..however …. it did not live up to expectations.|On the positive side – the view was great, the beds were comfortable. That’s about it. ||The room was “tired” – renovations are overdue. The street noise carried all the way up to the 4th floor…… and worse was the constant rattling of the bedroom windows due to the windy days --- we finally worked out that a spoon pushed between windows panes solved that problem.||The other noise issue came from the river – as many boats are moored there, and one night the roaring party outside went on until 4 am. (not the hotel’s fault – the location is the issue).||We wanted a couple of extra pillows – but were told that none were available (give me a break!) When I was clearly displeased – 2 miraculously appeared at our door. ||I brought along a USB drive with some movies to watch – but while the TV had a USB port – the on screen menu did not list the USB port as a possible input… so no luck there.||The room was not very clean – it had not been vacuumed – bits everywhere, even an empty pill contained left on the shelf. Bathroom was OK. The night table tops were “sticky”.||The maids neglected to refill the coffee and tea daily – we kept having to ask for supplies.(which we did get).||So overall, very expensive for what you get (or don’t get). Not recommended.

The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the river. Unfortunately, the rooms are extremely noisy, so even conversations or the TV can be heard as if you were in the same room.

Welcoming staff and helpful service. Apartment was spacious and comfortable but lacked sufficient crockery. Food and service in the restaurant was first class with friendly staff and excellent meals. Incredibly good value. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay.
