Lovely quiet park with grassy big drive through sites. We stayed on sites 30 & 31 which had a lovely shady tree to the east which gave us shade from the hot morning sun. There were also hedges on either side for privacy which was nice. Well kept park, tidy kitchen, old but clean and usable amenities. Short walk to pub and shops. Friendly staff. We would stay again, thanks for a lovely few days.

This place is awful, the amenities need an upgrade from the 50’s, the current caretakers don’t want to be there.
The gentleman nice the lady seems always annoyed, several commented she was rude.
With a couple of simple upgrades like new showers (especially shower heads and some pressure), access to water or beach out front, or putting in a pool would make this place worth $40 a night.

Very impressed. Location was perfect for us. The camp kitchen was excellent, plenty of electrical cooking appliances. Well stocked with cutlery and crockery. A fridge would make it better but I appreciate that this may be problematic. A small cosy park. Amenities extremely clean and tidy. Shops walking distance. A Great stay. We'll be back

Great little park and only a short walk to the IGA, bakery, takeaway shops, and the pub / tavern that offer great meals. The park is dog πŸ• friendly, neat and tidy. There are plenty of shady sites with slabs. Amenities are a bit old but spotless. Laundry is available at $4 per load (4 x $1). Park is in front of an old marina but it's only a short walk to the beach. Sites are reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I think it's a great location and unfortunately the two times iv been it's been windy and wet!

I don't like leaving bad reviews HOWEVER, I was not happy with how I was spoken to on arrival, someone was coming out in their Ute and I was in my car so let them out and then went in under the boom gate, parked my car up and went towards the office.

Gentleman sitting there straight away said "I should make you drive back out and come back in, but I won't!" Immediately this got my back up and p*ssed me off. I don't expect to be spoken to like a school child! I then said I didn't see any signs not to come in and I'm sorry. The lady was fairly polite but they both kept pointing out I shouldn't of come through the boom gate. I said I didn't see a sign so are they out there and got told they are. I accepted it apologised again and went to my spot.

Unfortunately I took a gamble on sunshine and thunderstorms but lost and it was very wet and windy, no-one but Mother Nature to blame for that. It did bother me the blokes attitude though and being spoken like that considering I'd been at work and then driven 4 hours to get there, tired and needing to set my camp up and be spoken to like an idiot.

I decided because of the weather and the fact I didn't feel very welcomed and the way I was feeling I left and didn't stay the second night. I could have said something there and then but would have lost my temper so the only way to vent is to write this unfortunately. Serious attitude problem and rude!!!

Anyways as I left I turned around to look at the "clearly sign posted" not to go through the boom gate before checking in at the office and well, I don't think it's clearly well signed, so the attitude and problems caused were unwarranted and unnecessary!

Iv attached a photo showing it says "vans pull up to here" that doesn't say cars, nor does it say don't go through the boom gate before you've checked in!

Check your attitude before you spitball at people arriving or put clearer signs up so if people do ignore them you have a right to moan!

It's a shame as I really like the location but the attitude and rudeness I was met with I will not be returning again nor will I recommend staying there to anyone!!!

Be warned of the "dreaded boom gate" enter at your own peril!!

We have enjoyed our stay at this park in the past, but this time around not so much. Overall, the location is great and the park itself is amazing, but management are unwelcoming and make you feel as though you are putting them out by simply arriving.

If you have kids, there is an amazing huge park a shirt walk away. The pub down the road is great, and the pizza shop makes great pizzas. There is also a small IGA for groceries.

We will return, but hope by then there is new management.

Super friendly welcome by park manager and her 4 legged friend. Reasonable price and fabulous location. Was a quiet location with handy facilities and easy walk near by. Gorgeous view from our little cabin and comfortable bed.||Bathroom could have been improved on cleanliness.
