The place was beautiful and the owners were lovely! I stayed there the night before my wedding and my wife stayed there with me the night of. We didn't have a chance to really appreciate the entire estate, but we're definitely planning on doing a group visit with some friends in the future! The gardens were gorgeous and I'm sure the pool will be lovely in the hotter weather. If you're planning to be out during the day, just be sure to have anything you don't want the cleaners touching put away. They did a very thorough job with our room, but I'd left a few unmentionables out in the morning and they'd all been neatly folded and put away when we got back

Lovely house set in beautiful gardens. I only had a very short stay but would love to come back and spend more time. The hosts were lovely and the room was very comfortable with everything I needed. A variety of breakfast foods available. Definately a hidden gem!
Great value for the room and pet friendly too!

We staid with my boyfriend and our dog! The owners is a beautiful and kind person!(He also gifted me a book 😍).
The house and room are so nice, look like a museum!

Lovely, dog-friendly, quaint, character-filled historical home with very comfortable rooms complete with amenities such as a coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster etc. Did I mention dog friendly? We needed a place to stay overnight that would welcome our doggo and were not disappointed. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Room rate reasonable, with included continental breakfast. I wish we'd had more time to get to explore the gardens and use the inviting-looking pool. Will definitely be back 🙂

What a fantastic place. Didn't even know this is in my own backyard. Perfect little getaway without going to a new city. Quiet yet friendly, all the amenities you need and your pooch is welcome too.
