Where to even start!! This was the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. From the moment I arrived I knew it was where I wanted to have our wedding. Catherine was absolutely wonderful from the first appointment all the way through to the day of the wedding and even after the wedding. The photos all turned out amazing because of the venue and all of our guests had the most incredible time. The food was so good and it just kept coming (we chose the cocktail package) the whole day ran so perfectly my only wish was that it lasted longer! Huge shoutout to all of the staff but especially Catherine you truly are wonderful at your job and you play such an important role for a lot of couples on their big day and we are so grateful that you were a part of ours! xx

The team at Bundaleer is extremely professional and well organized. I coordinated my wedding from across the globe while living in Canada and Sasha and Catherine were excellent at accommodating our requests and proving information via email when I wasn't able to visit the venue until 2 days before the wedding. The day was perfect, and the service was excellent from the personalized server that made sure we were fed while we had photo's done to the recommendations on vendors.

The phone calls I didn't expect to receive.

Out of many venues we visited, we picked Bundaleer for the beautiful greenery, as well as the professionalism from Catherine when we first met. She was very experienced and made us feel very reassured.

The day of our wedding, there were drizzle of rain. But within a few hours, I received a call from Catherine, one I would never want or expect to receive, that the venue had flooded so badly, and we would need to postpone.

Postponing wasn't an option as our friends and guests come from out of town, some have booked accomodation to stay here. So both Bundaleer and our bridal party got to work. We called many venues and miraculously found Transcontinental Hotel who agreed to take us on. A wedding for almost 80 people, to be organised within 3 hours.

Bundaleer did everything they could to ensure we have a smooth transition. Catherine got in touch with the other event manager to work out catering for all the guests, dietary requirements etc (all the things I didn't have to think about in the chaos of everything).

We set everything up at Bundaleer the day before, so all the alcohol, seating chart, welcome sign, table numbers, guest favours, candles, table runner, the wedding cake, name tags etc were all stuck there with the water rising so high. My stomach sank when I found out I may not be able to get anything out. Things we spent months procuring, and the cake made by our family, and guest favours from our home.

As I started to sink into my despair, Catherine rang me back, and I could not believe the words she was saying: 'We will get you your cake, and all the decorations. We'll make sure you have everything there for your wedding'. And that they did.

Michael, the owner roped everything across the flood water, into a car and drove it to our new venue. He also helped the staff there set up our decorations to match the way we had them at Bundaleer. He finished everything before the guests arrived.

I almost cried walking down the aisle and seeing the decoration exactly how we had them at Bundaleer. We ended up having a beautiful wedding, exactly how we planned it.

None of this would have been possible if it weren't for the generosity of Michael, Catherine and the team here at Bundaleer. They refunded us everything and did not have to rope anything out to us, as you can see the water was quite high in the photo, but they did just to help us out.

I often think about how beautiful our wedding could have been if it were to happen here, and if we were to pick a different venue, whether they would show us the same generosity in crisis time like this.

I cannot recommend Bundaleer highly enough.

The team there were incredibly helpful, kind, and courteous to the bride and groom, their guests, and even to us vendors. We thought it was an amazing place to work and look forward to photographing there in the future.

We had the best experience with this incredible venue. Catherine, Sasha and the staff were all brilliant from day 1. They had excellent communication, so much knowledge and enthusiasm, and made us feel like we could make our dream wedding come to life. We had a few specifics that we wanted to do for our day that were a bit different, and they were on board with every step helping make things work - and Catherine even left a message for us on our audio guest book (which was the best surprise)! We loved having our special waiter with us during the photos with water and snacks and always felt taken care of at every step of the day (and in the lead up too!) Also a shout out to the in house DJ Craig for all his help too!

We are so glad we chose this venue for our special day! It was so stunning with the fairy lights in the treetops room and the incredible backdrop of the waterfall deck - and we appreciate so much everyone from Bundaleer that made our day extra special. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue/an organiser- amazing Catherine ? From day 1, she made us feel at ease. Super prompt with her responses, patient and helpful. She brings such a lovely positive vibe to the planning process which we absolutely loved! On the day she & her team had everything ready to go and we didn’t have to worry once about anything - the canapés were amazing! The food was great! ? top notch service from her team & love to the cute Millie, who served us on the day! recommend the venue to anyone looking to celebrate their special day!

The rainforest gardens are exactly what they sound like. It's giving fairytale vibes. Picture a wedding venue set for Tinkerbell, that's pretty much it but at regular human scale. The trees are enormous. Truly ENORMOUS, and the buildings have many ornate timber features.
The staff were great. There was a young gentleman carrying a large tower of glasses; a veritable SPIRE. I so love shouting "JOB OPENING" when glasses are dropped - no such luck. Quite the display of glass-stacking prowess. That guy.. he's going places.
Getting beef in an alternate drop situation is a win. Our waitress did me a solid here. Could it be love? Maybe. Could it be the chant of "BEEF BEEF BEEF" whilst gently thumping the table every time wait staff came past? Also maybe. Either way I owe her one. The same nice young lady also offered us one of their trolleys to pack up and transport our table decorations to the carpark. For this she deserves a raise and a bonus. So does the glass-stacking guy for that matter.
The marquee area is sizeable and comfortably sat circa 120 people. With the sides up, the early summer afternoon breeze was cool, unlike me, who felt the full force of three suns sporting an alarmingly handsome 3-piece in summer.
The grounds were more than well maintained, they were MANICURED. Even the amenities building was clean and orderly.

There's a pretty farm gate. There's a pretty swing. There's a pretty creek. There's a pretty bridge. There's one of those giant L.O.V.E. signs. There's a pretty long driveway shrouded by a broken tree canopy for some filtered light masterpieces.
I love weddings, I love LOVE. Love is so beautiful, and this is the perfect place to celebrate it.
