We stay at Bulwarra every year. It is a great place to visit with the kids, it’s close to the beach and shops but if you want to you can just sit around the pool or use the bbq area.

The rooms are clean and tidy and great value for money. It’s not a new resort so some of the infrastructure is a little dated but the furniture is modern and the place is great.

Kate and Bruce who run the place are great, they are always friendly and willing to help.

If you are looking for a good place to go on holidays with the kids then this is a great spot.

Filthy, stained carpet, stained couches, found a pair of goggles in the couch what the, filthy aircon, stains on walls, dusty stained blankets I don’t think have ever been washed. Dusty bathroom vents, we stayed in room 10 never again and no services over Easter.

This place is good if you don't have high expectations. We've been coming here for years for family reunions, staying in the cottage and some villas. They have done a lot of renovations in the last few years. It's looking great, but it's definitely budget quality accommodation. The kitchen in the cottage is quite damp and musty smelling, the bedrooms used to be the same, but with new carpets, flooring and beds, the bedrooms were fresh. The bathrooms are also quite new and there is a washer and dryer in the cottage.

The place was clean enough though dated and basic. They were following “Covid”practices which conveniently meant they did not have to staff the office and the customers had to strip beds and take out rubbish. Yet they charged like a full service 4 star establishment. We will not stay here again.

Clean place, beautiful ocean view from Trebetha Cottage. Great 25m lap pool.
Only drawback at this cottage is the busy road out front. Windows closed, put air on, not so bad then. Welcomed with a smile.

Friendly staff, comfy beds and villas are a good size. Great pool, there's a playground for the kids and a BBQ area. It is a 5 minute walk to the Terrigal Hotel and Terrigal Beach. 10 minute walk to Crowne Plaza. Great location and reasonably priced.

Your experience at Bulwarra is what you make it. We love it, no fuss rooms, look after yourself, no sycophant staff. The Town centre 10 minutes away (walking) is fantastic. Nearing 10 years since we first stayed at Bulwarra, ,still coming back.

Very central to everything. Decor is dated but clean. Bathrooms could be modernised a bit. Grounds are well kept as is the pool.
