We stayed at this park for one night on our way from Cairns to Brisbane. The location is very beautiful, and the amenities are clean, but that's where the park's advantages end. The reception is not open, and check-in is done by phone. The sites are not numbered, so we found our spot only with the help of local vacationers. There is no trash can in the camp kitchen, and to access the bathroom, you need to enter a password on the door, which is very inconvenient. The cost of a site in the park is slightly overpriced for this level of service.

We enjoyed our 3 week stay at this caravan park. The Manager/Caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Our site was a good size nestled between palm trees. The amenities were clean with hot showers. Short walk to the beach, boat ramp, and cafe.

I will start by saying this park is a bit dated and the amenities are old but well maintained. It is very much a beachfront park so very rustic. The pool is lovely and looks very enticing but it was a bit cool while we were here. The service is excellent. They didn't initially have the days I wanted but the lady I spoke to said she would call me back which she did and she had shuffled things around so we could get the days we wanted. I was most impressed with this effort.

Initially booked for 2 weeks having not been there before but on arrival immediately asked to extend as instantly loved it! We ended up staying 5 weeks and were sorry to leave! Lisa, the caretaker, was friendly and welcoming and ensured the park amenities were clean & tidy. Loved the area . . handy to supermarket, shopping centres, restaurants etc. |Absolutely love this place!

Well we have been in this park for a couple of weeks now, and I can’t believe how clean the amenities have been the last 2 days. There must be someone else cleaning them as there is no poo scum on the bottom of the toilet bowls, showers look cleaner, and it actually smells clean when you walk in. The grounds need some attention, and they need to make the permanents clean up their sites. They make the CP look a dump.

Super friendly booking experience. We had to make a change and Karen worked out a solution and got back to us. No problems. Location is superb. Peaceful, by the beach. Older style park, just what we like.

This park is in a great location, right on beach and nearby to lovely cafe and shops.
The caretaker does a good job at making sure bins are emptied and check in is easy. The toilet blocks are old and in need of care. There is a function able laundry and camp kitchen.
Sadly the park is overrun with many folk who live here or have permanent set ups and they look VERY untidy and almost dumpish. The park management really needs to have stricter control over these sites which are spread everywhere.
We have been staying here over 4 years but sadly won’t be back as it’s just getting run into the ground. 😞

Loved the location of this park. Great for our fur baby. Yes I agree the amenities block is very old and dated but realy who cares, the water is hot just wear thongs in the shower. We are not yuppies so did us nicely. Been there a few times and would be happy to go back.
