Lovely staff and a beautiful location, but in need of an update and clean. ||Unfortunately, stains, cobwebs, mildew and cracks greet you upon entry. This resort has so much potential and with an update and clean we would revisit. ||The restaurant is currently closed, but you have access to a communal barbecue and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. A 60 second walk will bring you to a bridge where you can spot a platypus or two and there are walking tracks close by. It is a nice area to visit and there are some lovely camp sites close by.

The place is beautiful, with the massive bonus of seeing Platypus in the wild (which we did). The actual site was well maintained and the small pool area looked clean and was fenced in, thus safe with wandering youngsters. The staff at reception were very helpful, polite and informative. |Unfortunately the cabin I stayed in was very tired and in my opinion, in need of a complete refurbish, it wasn’t very nice at all. It wasn’t dirty, just worn out. I must point out that the bedding was spotless and the bed comfy.||I’d love to stay here again for a few days, as the area is stunning and the wildlife is incredible, I’d only do so if the cabins are refreshed.

This place is basic, yet very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed our stay there, and everything we asked for was addressed in a timely manner. It's a walking distance from the platypus viewing area, so it was very convenient.

My husband and I were looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed because the lodges were run down slightly but we still had a comfortable stay. The owners would benefit from refurbishing the units because the price per night would then be okay. We did see a couple of little platypus but not as many as we would have liked. Warning - there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was extremely hot when we arrived and no air conditioning had been turned on for our arrival. Apart from that, it is a lovely part of the world to stay/visit with all the wildlife around.

This place is amazing . So quiet, relaxing and platypuses. The walks and views are beautiful. The animals and birds that you see are remarkable. We came to see the duck bill platypuses and we did in the rivers near by . The accommodations is basic but it goes well with the woodland around you . It was clean . The receptionist was excellent and she went out of her way for us . She opened the bar so we could sit in . Even though it shouldn’t have been . No restaurant in the week but you can order food by 4 pm and get it delivered and eat in your room from the reception . We were it opened at weekend . There is a cafe near by that closes at 3 . Plenty of parking . There is a small swimming pool on site but a bit cold . The temperatures drops around here and it was 12 degrees. We were told it goes down to -2 and they have open fires in some rooms . Definitely worth a visit . The roads to get here are quite steep but the views are spectacular. Some walk ways are easy for wheelchairs and prams to get through .

The garden of the resort is beautiful, and the accommodations are cozy, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. While the cleanliness was satisfactory, I had some issues with how credit card payments via third-party booking sites were handled. However, these issues were resolved after discussing them with the resort staff.||||During my stay, I enjoyed the view from the Sky Window, embarked on a 16 km hike through the rainforest, and had the delightful experience of seeing platypuses swimming in the river. It was a wonderful getaway that offered a chance to relax and reflect on life.

The location is superb. The duck Bill platypus are fun to watch. Service and food are also good but the cabin we stayed in was very basic and dated. Adequate for 1 night but wouldn't want to stay longer unless in better accomodation. Still worth it for the experience especially coming from UK.

Waited for quite some time & had to call the phone number to check in. Cabin was very outdated & the bed was hard so I didn’t sleep all that well. The food at the restaurant was ok for my meal but the wagya beef was well overcooked & the dessert had whipped cream that was sour.
