We stayed 2 nights on a powered site. The amenities were clean and the showers were hot. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were very handy to town. The park is very pleasant with lovely gum trees (appropriate guns that won't drop branches on you). We thought the price was quite reasonable too.
Very pleasant.

I stayed in a pet friendly cabin for 3 nights.
It was the most beautiful cabin I have ever stayed in - like something from the TV show
'The Block'. All needs catered for; extremely clean and comfortable with new appliances. Excellent!!
Highly recommend.

Nice park about 2 mins out of town to the East side. Sites are generous.
I note cabins of different varieties but as we are in a van we didn’t see inside these. The owners are updating different parts of the park such as camp kitchens, but there are some older parts such as the ammenities that are outdated. Mainly aesthetics / appearance as no problem with cleanliness or function.
Check in process was simple but beware the reception is closed over lunch time so need to arrive after 2pm as per their site information so you are not disappointed. Or maybe discuss your arrival time with them to arrange appropriately. The reception staff we dealt with were very lovely so I am sure they would accomodate.
There is a lookout at the end of the road that overlooks the hills so maybe this is how the name came to be.
We booked online which was easy. Email communication once you book is helpful but I think a bit over and above what is necessary.

We were happy with our stay and would stay again when we are in the area.

We stayed at the Outback view Holiday park for 3 nights, whilst the park and amenities maybe dated, they were always clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The park is quite and safe. Once all the renovations are done it will be fantastic. I would gladly stay again.

So impressed with the cabins there. Very classy. Clean quiet and comfortable with all the mod cons. Even the toilet paper was posh! AWESOME!

"Don't judge a book by its cover"

Family of 4 from interstate, spent a few days in Broken Hill as we had never been there before.
Stayed at the Broken Hill View Holiday Park in 'Superior Cottage', not going to lie, driving down the back of the park where the cottage was located, the exterior was showing its age and as we inserted the key to open the door, we were expecting something pretty rough, but to our surprise this cottage must have been recently renovated as the fit-out easily rivalled some high-class hotels we have stayed in. Newly updated, kitchen, bathroom, flooring and furniture, plus it was 42C outside and the AC was nice and cool. We only saw staff on the day of check-in and check-out but they were all very welcoming. The park is on the edge of town but we drove so all the attractions were only minutes away, plus it has a playground and pool. Good value, family and culturally friendly, would highly recommend!
