El cotocha cuenta con una cocina muy bien equipada y una habitación con una presión de agua muy buena. La presión de agua era buena, pero el sofá del salón estaba muy viejo y las camas estaban muy hundidas. El baño no tenía cortinas y no había cortinas ni persianas para el salón ni para las habitaciones. El cotocha cuenta con dos cotochas: una y otra B.

Charming historical cottage (2 independent cottages in one), very well located. Joanne is very friendly and helpful. One qualification though, do not forget your eye mask as there is no curtain/shutter in the Armoury cottage bedroom (unless you want to be up at 5am of course!).

This quaint historic cottage could be much improved by a furnishings update. The sofa in the TV room was well past its use by date, the bed was sunken and the bedside tables didn't work. The kitchen is well appointed and the water pressure was good. Note there are two sides to the cottage a and b. We stayed in b side.

We came to Richmond for a week from Queensland to get away from the heat and went looking for a fan each night to keep cool! The cottage is perfect. Fascinating history, comfortable and convenient location. Port and chocolate on arrival with self-contained living facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Bridge Cottages to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

We stayed at the cottage on our last night in Tasmania, it was also 3rd cottage we stayed in during our trip. This cottage was the most expensive during our trip and didn’t come with breakfast also the main fireplace was damaged and could not be used. The bed was comfy and the cottage clean and well looked after. The position in Richmond is great, across the road from the Richmond bridge and 5min walk to food outlets and shops. Being only 25km from Hobart it is a good central place to be if you don’t want to stay in Hobart but still have easy access to the south. I would recommend this property to couples who want to stay in a colonial cottage.

Have spent a week here over christmas. Owners were great when we arrived given mix up from tenants in other cottage. Accommodation is comfortable and all you need. Mattress and bed need to be replaced - the mattress sags in middle and bed makes a racket when turnover. Lounge in tv room also not very comfortable. We only used accommodation for sleeping - we were out all day every day so didn't use kitchen other than fridge. Also didn't use fireplace as it was summer! Location was great - central to Richmond and easy access to Southern Tasmania area - but could be a little dangerous leaving the driveway at times with people flying down the road! Thanks for great stay - love the charm of the accommodation.

Three days before we were due to check in, my mother had a stroke and we needed to immediately return home. The borders were also due to close in our home state due to COVID so we were left with no option but to forfeit our holiday around Tasmania.|||| The owner/host of this accommodation did not offer a refund and instead offered a credit. We have emailed and asked to use the credit but received no response. This is a really disappointing experience and we would not recommend this accommodation based on the owner/host’s lack of compassion and flexibility in these uncertain times.

The location of this cottage is great & we spent a last night here after our Tassie vacation.||Looks great from the front of the property but we were a little concerned about getting our low car up the kerb to the parking area. With care we managed. The back of the cottages are less appealing, needs a tidy up as I wouldn't like to sit out there as it is now. The French doors are also unappealing & even though the cottage does have it's charm with some original features there are also a few shabby features including the couch. There was also cobwebs under the coffee table. Sorry no excuse for this one.||The complimentary Port & Chocolates is a nice touch but could be a bit more up-market as this is an expensive nightly rate. Also I couldn't find any tissues until I came across a small travel pack in the bathroom, which is also a little shabby.||The bedroom is at the front of the property & even though it is charming I didn't sleep well. Bed was ok but the noise started at about 6am...not sure if it was a road sweeper going back & forth !!!||This property is marketing based on it's history which is really appealing but perhaps some slight upgrades would also help. Not sure I would like to stay for an extended period as I didn't find it very comfortable.

Cottage was dusty. Silverfish in bed. Bed bugs in mattress. We got covered in bites. Smoke alarms hanging empty from ceiling. Vent in bathroom hanging from ceiling. Owner would not refund and was rude. Accused us of carrying the bed bugs in on our clothes and putting them in the bed! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
