This was the third time we have stayed at Briardale. We are always made welcome and enjoy our time here on our travels up and down the Hume highway. || The rooms are a good size the beds comfortable and the bathrooms quite large. The port and sherry is a nice touch.The security parking is good.There is a fantastic garden that one can enjoy the bird life and just relax,switch off and enjoy. The rooms are quiet and overlook the garden and park area next door. The Albury CBD is a short 10 min drive away where there is an extensive range of eating places and shopping available.WiFi works well.

We stayed at Briardale for an overnight getaway and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Rob was very attentive from the moment we arrived. Great location and first class rooms, a true Bed and Breakfast. The room was very spacious and we loved the view of the Tawny Owls roosting in the tree outside our window. Delicious breakfast and company. We had a lovely stay in this meticulously decorated and cared for oasis. Our room was lovely, bed super comfy, spa accommodating and our brekky was spot on. Overlooking the manicured garden on a warm spring day was a little slice of heaven. Thanks so much to our hosts, highly recommended.

Stayed here for a single night while travelling from Melbourne to Sydney and, unlike some other reviewers, didn't fall in love with the property. It is well off the beaten track, doesn't quite provide the historic feel that we expected (and have enjoyed in many other B&Bs) and just didn't do it for us. On the positive side, car parking is quite secure, the garden is quite impressive and the adjacent park is very pleasant.

Our second visit to Briardale enroute to Sydney. Not so much a B&B but a "home from Home". Rob and Robyn are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Very comfortable room and bed, excellent breakfast. Felt like we were visiting old friends.

We stayed for 2 nights while travelling around the area. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us and breakfast was excellent, enough to set you up for the day. Beautifully presented house and garrn eith wonderful birdlife. Would strongly recommend.
