Susan and Peter have such an amazing little spot.

The accommodation had so much character and such a warm and welcoming ambiance. Beautiful raked roofs and vintage styled interior. I can't express how much I like the accommodation style. It was such a better experience than a hotel. I'd choose Susan's and Peter's accommodation every time. Great clear views over the acres of grass. It felt like we were staying far away from the city lifestyle, nice and calming. But only a short uber from the airport!

Check in was a breeze, as we arrived past 10pm. Susan and Peter organised "self check in" No dramas at all, clear instructions

Everything was clean, working properly, lots of bedding and even electric blankets on the bed

Home made bread in a lovely bread bag, butter, jams, cereals, tea, instant coffee, coffee machine (with pods), milk, they had the lot!

Recliner chairs are a bonus!

Thanks again!

Wonderful place to stay, very comfortable bed and lounge furniture, well equipped if small kitchen. Loved the wonderful fresh bread and jams and home made biscuits. Lovely walking around the extensive yard and views. Right next to market and close to everything. Welcoming and helpful hosts, thank you!

This was our first stay at Briar Lane and we chose the one bedroom apartment. The location is ideal for exploring Evandale as it is close to the town but set back in its own extensive grounds/gardens. The accommodation was well appointed and we would love to return when next visiting the area.

A lovely place in a gorgeous village. Everything supplied, even a loaf of bread. The best accommodation we stayed in in our 3 week stay in Tasmania.

Briar Lane accommodation is set in a beautiful, quiet, garden environment. It's spacious and well appointed, easy to find and there's a key safe for access if you arrive late. It's a self service apartment so there isn't really any service but the host is friendly and welcoming and a continual breakfast of tea and coffee, fresh bread, milk, honey and jams is provided. Meals are available at nearby hotels. I had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend this venue.

A friend and I had a very enjoyable 3 nights in the larger of the two apartments at Briar Lane with our two Silky Terriers. So lovely to find a place that our dogs were welcome. Susan is a great host and has essentials plus bread and fresh eggs in the kitchen. Very comfy beds with electric blankets and good heating. Evandale is a charming Georgian village and Launceston only 15 kms away. Highly recommended!

Such a lovely place to stay clean and roomy . Hosts were very friendly. Breakfast provided was good. Only negative was not disability friendly with steps to small bathroom low toilet no handrails and step up shower. With this in mind overall very good and well priced.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Briar Lane (Unit 1), and we enjoyed our stay just as much as the last time three years earlier.|The unit had received a little makeover since our last stay and looked fresh and was comfortable. Bread, butter, eggs, honey & jam were provided in the well-appointed little kitchen, which was a particularly nice touch.||We used Evandale as our base for exploring around the Launceston and North East area of Tasmania and having such a lovely place, with a stunning garden, to relax after a long day out was just the ticket.
