Big hotel of 3 towers. We were allocated in the Boardwalk building. Room was good size with all amenities- although I would not recommend this room / building for mobility impaired/ elderly due to the set up of the bathroom access. Location was great and we had a small view even though we were not waterfront rooms. I would stay again if I could get the room at a very good price

The processes were smooth, simple and easy, from online booking through arrival, stay to departure. The location was excellent clearly manifest in the fact that it was our third stay. The beach and diverse eating places took just a minute or so to access. The rooms were well appointed complemented by one of the best polls I have seen from my travels around the world. Staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. We will definitely be back.

All the phases went very well from booking through arrival to departure. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pool was one of the best in the world. Communication from the resort was clear at all times and all needed information was provided. We enjoyed this fantastic stay, evident in the fact that it was a our third stay.

This was our first holiday as a family and BreakFree Grand Pacific Caloundra made it as smooth and easy as possible. The pool wasn't available for the first few days of our stay due to renovation, but the staff were on top of communication for letting us know that and for when it was available. The price was also very fair.
Overall can't fault the hotel or staff at any stage, would definitely recommend.

Staff were excellent. Free games room through the school holidays was appreciated. Apartment 77 itself: microwave broken, kitchen cabinet doors hanging on only half the hinges, curtain not hanging on hooks at ends, master toilet stopped flushing halfway through our stay, mattresses and couches need replacing - they offer little support and feel as though they’ve had many years of frequent wear on the cushioning/springs - we had sore backs the entire stay, the ceiling fans turned on randomly in both rooms, the grout throughout the apartment could use a good clean, mouldy silicone could also do with replacing, the apartment generally felt grubby and due for renovation. If we had to stay in apartment 77 again in the state it was in, or if it had only minor renovations, that would be the end of our stays at Breakfree Grand Pacific.

I think this was our fourth annual stay here. We are disappointed in that we were given only 4 days notice to say the pool would be closed Tuesday to Friday inclusive for renovation. We were here for a peaceful break by the pool but all we got was no pool and 4 days of power tools under our balcony. Compensating by way of discount refunded to our credit card was promised but has not happened.

Booked apartment with rooftop spa got phone call morning to arrival saying air conditioner not working in our apartment so they gave us another apartment next door to use with air conditioner working and keys to other apartment so we could use rooftop how good was that. All the staff at check in and check out were great. Resort close to everything apartment clean can not complain about anything even got late check out were will definitely be back thanks again for great weekend

Was very close to the main road shops and the markets on a sunday , the room was very nice , the floors needed vacuuming behind the bed , found a hair tie behind of the night stands , very dusty on the floor , The water pressure in the ensuite bathroom (unit 82) is was very hard and spraying everywhere, There was a big wooden step into the jacuzzis/shower which was very dangerous to be stepping in and out of due to slip hazards so was not impressed. The beds were so uncomfortable only had one flat sheet to keep you warm but had 2 blankets in the cupboard to use , Would appreciate if there was actual bedding for the beds . One of the bathrooms shower head had green mould growing on the shower head which was quite concerning for health issues , I could see black mould growing in the jacuzzi which was also very alarming . But have great view of the water from the balcony and at the pool . The pool temperature was nice , there was no shade coverings so that was a bit disappointing because it gets very sunny in the middle of the day . Things to improve , having garbage bags in the cupboard, beach towels that come with your room that are available for guest, more security locks on balcony doors . Besides that it was a great stay and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The lounges were very dirty underneath the couch pillows , i lost my glasses in between the cracks and when i lifted up the pillow there was old food crumbs and all sorts of dirt . Besides that great stay and would recommend for a short family holiday
