Inside the Sydney NP, just needed to pay for a parking fee which is $8 valid all day. Few parking spaces near the amphitheater but more inside the NP. Perfect for sunset viewing, NYE fireworks, wedding etc. Can swim and with good toilets. I believe no showers though. Watchout for the magpie/birds as they are very aggressive when they swoop for foods.

Nice little spot to eat lunch, picnic or to have casual meetings with friends and colleagues. I doubt it is being used as an actual amphitheater. It is also connected to a pier that is great for fishing (you will need an NSW fishing license). The folks fishing there said they havent caught anything yet.

Australian Ravens, laughing kookaburras, noisy miners, australian magpies, australian brushturkeys and silver gulls roam the area in hopes of scavenging for visitor bread/food.

Overall a nice place to relax.

Great spot for public transport users like me. Just around 15 mins walking from Taronga Zoo Wharf.

The scenery is sooo gorgeous at all time, moreover when about to sunset. You may see breathtaking greeny amphitheatre with blue ocean and Sydney’s landscape at the background.

A small piece of calm beach with fine sand is also there, just next to the amphitheatre. Such a perfect getaway for releasing stress due to relentless assignments at University tho ?.

Beautiful place for a romantic picnic,overlooking the water and directly at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
We were lucky and unlucky to encounter some wildlife during the day. A possum scavenging for leftover fruit and kookaburras who swooped our sushi right out of our chopsticks, twice.
Reminder, to always take all rubbish with you for the safety of animals and ending up in the ocean. Bins located near toilets and parking spaces.

Great views of the harbor bridge and Opera House. Perfect for sunsets. There is limited parking available though. Although you may be able to park a 5 min walk away as well.

Perfect spot to enjoy the view of the city. We were almost alone (only 3 other people).
