Although it looked great and we had a confirmed booking, after I advised I have a medical assistance dog I was told "we don't accept pets so keep your furry friend home" I called to resolve it and was told we would not be allowed access despite legislation as it was her property and she could refuse whoever she likes. She then advised me to cancel the booking and try to find something else, which I did but not as large a space.
The owner is completely without any empathy, compassion or respect, and not even so much as an "I'm sorry". These assistance dogs undergo extensive training and handlers are normally very considerate to ensure our dogs are clean and well behaved. They are a medical aid, and we don't have the option of just 'leaving them home. I'm sure the accommodation is lovely, but the attitude of the owner is not.

We can very strongly recommend this accomodation ...the owners are so friendly and helpful. We started in a room and upgraded to a villa. Very clean and tidy, the villa is of course bigger and has its own laundry. We feel like home. It's close to the beach and to the shopping area. Great place to stay.

While the location is great and the cleaners do their best and the manager is very welcoming the rooms themselfs are very old and run down. Time for the owners to realise that cleaners can only do so much. Please fix things. The ac was very dirty and there is mould on the ceiling the fridges are very old and rusty, the bathroom cupboards are stuffed.. this is the case in a couple of times as we stayed here in a couple of trips..
Wouldn't recommend until the owners spend a little of their profits maintaining the motel..

Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. Everything was fantastic. Comfy beds, full kitchen, spacious bathroom and lounge room. The villa was incredibly clean. The staff are so friendly and great to have a chat with. Great pool, close to beach. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back

Unfortunately it was raining when we stayed in the Boyne Island villa, so it was lucky we had so much space and undercover parking.|The villa was spotless with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The owners were very pleasant and the beach with all the shells on it was just beautiful!|I would definitely stay again.

Whilst the villas are very nice, the motel is actually disgusting. Dogs barking, owners children crying right outside the rooms.

Just a 20 second drive from grocery shops, a street over from an unmonitored beach (great for strolling on the shore, picking through washed up shells, fishing) and little playgrounds

Room was really good, comfortable beds, shower was excellent best shower I have ever had the pressure was so good, staff are ever so friendly, me and my family will definitely be back again. Price was very reasonable and was situated in a fantastic area.
