👏🏽 Such a honnest place to purchase quality products for every kind of meals! Recently, I bought meat (Chicken Kiev) to bake home; it was so well prepared and presented, affordable, no hidden unnecessary/nasty ingredients, great advice and sweet service. Ah! And the pre-made frozen delicious pies for a quick meal (vegetarian options are very yummy aswell!!) Curries, sauces, pastas, cheeses, ham of the bone, a large variety of spices to cook any flavoursome dishes...
I don't know where to stop! 🙃 Good to have such a great place to purchase healthy options, available right there in Yamba. Cheers 👌🏾

Being a tourist to the area, I was keen to checkout Bowen’s Deli. I was browsing looking at products, reading ingredients lists (due to dietary requirements within the family) and taking photos sending to my husband to see what he’d like. I had done one lap of the shop then returned back to the beginning to select what we wanted. The owners brother abruptly asked loudly in front of other staff and customers why I was taking photos, to which I replied sending to my husband to see what he’d like. He then remarked ‘You’ve been in the shop a long time’ and walked off out of sight. The owners brother should take a course in customer service and how to enact it politely. Such poor form on his behalf, however please note that the other staff I interacted with were polite and friendly. Also if there’s a time limit on how long customers can be in the shop this should be advertised to as customers we are aware of the terms and conditions of entry - note that 22mins exceeds this limit. Future customers beware.

I popped in for a coffee late in the arvo and was delighted to receive a nicely prepared flat white with an extra shot. The next day I returned for lunch and was pleased with my milk shake and a turkey, camembert and cranberry sauce roll. Finished my visit in the delicatessen where I purchased a bottle of caremelised balsamic vinegar.

What a great find! Has an amazing array of meats, cheeses, spreads, spices and lots of other hard to find specialties. Brendan was super helpful. I’m just sad I don’t have one of these around the corner from me in Sydney.

What a hidden little gem this place is for amazing burgers and food.

We visit everytime we come to Yamba and the burgers don't disappoint. The store is a lot larger than before with a lot more pantry choices. The burgers are well made, fresh, with a lot of choice. Sides of onion rings and fries are recommended.

We picked up meat from the deli and the bacon that they make themselves is the best bacon we have ever had and the service was amazing from the two boys - 5 out of 5.

Arrived in the morning, chose a couple of fresh baguettes from their fully stacked shelf of ready to go baguettes.

Staff took the money, asked for my name and told me to wait. All they had to do was pick up two baguettes from the shelf. Minutes later still no activity. Eventually I go up and ask if they can just perhaps get them out of the fully stacked shelf and pass them to me. Which they did. Very painful.

Then we start eating them, and the bread taste like it's two days old. Completely stale. There was no way we were dealing with that slow service again, so we just begrudgingly ate these dry and horrible baguettes, regretting spending nearly $25 on stale bread and strange service.
