A gorgeous setting for a getaway. The cottage was superbly situated and so sweet and comfortable.A group of khaki Campbell ducks waddled past this afternoon on the lawn. Hospitality is top notch with extras , Gaye ,Louisa and their staff are there to attend to you. A divine slice of heaven, don't miss it.

We spent 3 nights in the Chardonnay Cottage and it was wonderful! Nice and private, while not being too far from the restaurant and bar, other area wineries and the town of Orange. Gail was super-accommodating with everything we requested.

Our function for 40 was amazing at Borrodell. The food was delicious, the wines free-flowing, the views absolutely spectacular, and the Events Manager (Katherine) so obliging. Nothing was an issue, there was no request too large. She was amazing.

From the time we arrived for our mini break everyone went above and beyond. Our lunch in the restaurant, Sisters Rock, was exceptional Special mentions for Lauren for looking after us in the restaurant, Jonathan in the Sky Bar and to owner, Gaye for taking the time to show us to our beautiful accommodation. Loved waking in the morning with a light fog lingering over the valley and the wood fire crackling. We loved sitting in the bar chatting, indulging in your beautiful wines and learning about the history of the property. Highly recommend Borrodell, whether it be for a romantic getaway, a family gathering or a day trip. Absolutely loved it.

We enjoyed the most amazing lunch on weekend. Food is truly incredible and the views are breathtaking. We try and come here every time we visit Orange. We shall be back.

Location of the winery and restaurant is very scenic with great views over Orange. The wine tasting could have been better organised. We were a group of 6 and sat around a round coffee table. We were given a laminated sheet of paper each with 6 choices of wine but could only choose 3 to sample. There was confusion with who was tasting which wine as we all had different choices. It would have been better organised if we were given 3 glasses to put on the 3 wines of our choice on the laminated page. The glasses needed a wider rim to smell the wine bouquet, the glasses were small rimmed.

Arranged a birthday weekend for my mum and sister, this place has everything, you don’t need to leave! Such a well set out cottage and lovely extras including breakfast and fireplace. Fruit, wildlife, wine, restaurant, you don’t even need to leave!! Definitely coming back, this is the best winery we have ever stayed at. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed the view across the valley, from inside and outside the suite. Enjoyed watching the kangaroos at dusk, seeing the birds, hearing the cows. The suite is comfortable, spacious and pleasant, however its not modern. The suite has seem better days, the shower head needs replacing, the air-conditioner was quite noisy, no wood was supplied for the fireplace and the TV is about the same size of my PC monitor. Also note that there are no blinds on the main windows, so when the sun rises, don’t expect to sleep in! |We enjoyed our stay, however the suite just fell well used. Stayed in the Kingston suite.
