The pool was filthy however compared to the rooms that smell like urine with non working aircon units and uncomfortable beds as well as sticking to the floor surfaces and filthy glasses and cups the pool would be average. The owner takes a good half hour to charge you but is not forthcoming on partial refund after a disgustingly hot foul smelling sleepless night. Do yourself a favour and book in somewhere else. A train station ammenities unit is cleaner than this place.

The owners are very nice people. The rooms are great, the kitchenette is very handy and the rooms are always clean. It has everything you need when you're having a quick trip to Brisbane.

I found this unit on FB and they are advertised as short to long term units. When I got there to inspect it was a beautiful unit and I agreed to take it for about 3-6 months.

Then the story begun to change and that room had been let and I was given one with out cooking ability which was not even half as nice.

I noticed within a few days things were not right with this place. It is a motel with a motel license but they are treating it as a hostel, praying on vulnerable people. They kick people out when it suits them.

The people that work to keep the place from why I saw try to maintain some normal there but it is clear the place is full of drugs and unfortunately it got to the point I didn’t feel safe there.

Unfortunately quests are not adhering to social isolation laws either and there was a large gathering at the pool and also in the unit next door.

What even worse is when I did complain the manager refused to give me a refund until the room was relet.

I made a complaint to the commonwealth ombudsman this morning

An okay motel, clean sheets, quiet rooms. Manager's were nice enough, however one seemed grumpy all the time. Car parking off the main road. About 20 mins from the city. Okay for a couple of nights..

Chose this motel as our home away from home for a few weeks while we were renovating our house. And it was great. Rooms are comfortable amenities are somewhat dated but there's a microwave, crockery, and cutlery all provided something that can't be said about many higher end establishments.

A note regarding the beds they are quite soft but do still offer a fair bit of support just something to be aware of if you normally sleep on a stiffer mattress.

Comfortable walking distance to Cafe 63 which has a high speed internet connection unlike the motel itself. Although, the WiFi here is more than adequate for most things. But if you're on a business trip, or are uber nerd like me, and need to do some heavy data transfers the WiFi here will leave you wanting/waiting.

In summary though, would not hesitate recommending for any duration of stay.

Website says Credit Card available but when I got there it was cash only with a dodgy cash book used at weekend markets. I asked for a tax invoice of which they haven't provided. I will be reporting this place to the ATO. Overpriced as well for a hostel.

I Do not recomend this place. The old lady is rude and unreasonable. Stayed last night as it is the only place in vacinity of entertainment centre.(so they should be used to customers staying that are attending shows) Gig ended late. Walked back to room about 12. Boys have a smoke on balcony not even talking loud not drinking and she comes out threatening to kick us out if we dont go to bed, we had litrally only been back 20mins. all this because of some permanant next door that has to work early. Honest we wernt even loud. She basically told me off as i was checking in about partying coz of him. I said im not from brisbane i just need a room for the night, im not here to party. I am a paying customer too and really am not happy with her service and attitude.
