Great spot for a cheese festival. Very much enjoyed. Imagine this would be great fun for all the family when the races are on. Some great stalls, including Pinot & Pies plus some independent breweries and some of the best pies in Australia.

Went to the Southern Highlands Pie Festival. They really need to improve a couple of things here as the pie stalls were not overly abundant, I counted 5 in total and at $8.50 a pie, I think they took a little advantage of the captive audience. The Pie vendors were all in the one place except for one and you had to queue in a highly congested area where you were shoulder to shoulder with others. This did not encourage me to try other pies as I would need to join another long queue. This could be a really good venue if they spread the pie vendors out and had a few more take interest. Do the pies at a more reasonable cost as well.

Came for a pie festival but it was so amateurish - pies not ready, come back in 30 mins ? Charged for entry, then the first program event I went to see 'didnt happen'. Nice open area views if you're not freezing in the cold wind.
