We had a lovely lunch in the cafe, having Pumpkin Soup and Flathead fillets with chips and salad. Both were delicious. Coffees were great too. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

The coffee was enjoyable, but the food prices were quite steep. For example, a slice of banana bread was over $8, which felt unreasonable, so we opted not to buy it. Instead, we had a muffin and a small gluten-free treat. The café is in a convenient location, with a hiking trail starting just behind it. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating available, and the restroom is located inside the café.

We dropped by for a mid morning hot chocolate before exploring the area.

Set ourselves up in outdoor area which was pleasant under the winter sun and gives you a view and feel of the natural surrounds.

Service was quick and friendly. The hot chocolate hit the spot!

Bobbin Inn is such a lovely spot and the staff are very welcoming and friendly! Food was decent, unmarked vegan options available on the specials and menu if you ask.

Had the greek salad- fabulous dressing & all meals ordered had good portion sizes.
The new owners are so accomodating. We had a group booking & the weather was unpredictable with rain so she offered us inside & outside tables all thought out & prepared ahead of time- very efficient & thoughtful!
We forgot it was order a meal at the counter; but she kindly offered us table service anyway. The service was excellent & she even surprised the birthday girl/table with a surprise candle/brownie!
Gorgeous views, great service, good food, parking right there.. a great day out mid week.. will be back!!
Nice to have a great meal out for a change.

Very dull and underwhelming interior and mediocre service. I had been looking forward to going here as the 1930s era building has some original character. The cafe is slightly redeemed by its location, but hey have a picnic or BBQ instead and you’re even closer to the water and nature and can eat something decent. Salmon main was not bad but other dishes fairly average and over-priced. Kids nuggets and chips looked disgusting. I get that there’s no alternative cafe/restaurant in a 5 km radius but that doesn’t excuse poor food quality and service, especially at these prices.

Went to Bobbin Head without researching food options on a whim. On the way down the hill started to get a bit stressed as to whether there would be any lunch options as it was mid week. To our surprise, we found the Bobbin Inn. The hosts were friendly and attentive, providing excellent, quick service. The food was delicious. We had the Steak Sandwich with Chips and the Greek Salad with chicken (no Olives). Both meals were outstanding, and the chips were amongst the best I have ever had.
Loved everything about teh place and would highly recommend it for a little outing.

Above and beyond the delicious food, there's a lovely warmth to the hospitality of the owners, as if they're welcoming you into their own home. Not so common these days, it seems.

We booked a table inside for a large party, and one of the very thoughtful owners also reserved a table for us outside, just in case we'd prefer to sit there instead. And a surprise piece of scrumptious lemon cake was served to one of our party celebrating a birthday, on the house.

Situated in the stunning Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, in Sydney's north, it's a great place for a leisurely lunch of tasty, quality food and coffee. A business well worth supporting.
